Consensus seems to be that he’s not ready. I can’t wait until summer league in July. I got my hotel room booked and I’m ready to see this kid and hart play...I really think he’s going to make a huge leap this summer. It can’t feel too good to watch all of the other rookies he was drafted with find success at the nba level while he’s stuck in the G-league. He has the talent

He's talented but he's a long term prospect.
The goal for him this year should be to be good enough to be a backup center getting 10-15 minutes.
If we can develop him to a starter level over the next couple of years, it would be huge for us. He has the potential to be a center that can hit the three and protect the rim.
If the FO is confident in him, I wouldn't mind giving Brook Lopez a two year deal with the expectation that TB is able to start in 3 seasons.

I'm higher on TB then Zubac tho
me too and i was high on Zubac after his rookie.
Zubac didn't look better in season two, he may have even regressed. wouldn't be surprised if he's not on the team next season.

Hopefully he gets stronger this off season.
Nice. I don't have much doubt TB could contribute on offense in year two. It's his defensive progress and rebounding I'm interested in seeing in SPL if we guarantee his contract. I wanna see a beast on the glass this summer.
I guess we'll know if he, Zubac or both end up as cap space casualties in a few weeks. TB earns about 200K less than Zubac plus he was a Maginka pick. _________________ "Suck it up. Don't be a baby. Do your job." - Kobe Bryant
Just a pick up game and I know we'll see where he 'truly' improved in Summer League. But still, here's something to watch. _________________ How NBA 2K18 failed the All-Time Lakers:

^That pump fake and then taking it strong to the hole was sweet. Really hoping they pick up his option. _________________ "Suck it up. Don't be a baby. Do your job." - Kobe Bryant

I don't. Drafting Moritz was sure sign to me at least one of them is gone and since Pelinka stated length, shooting, and athleticism were the traits they were looking for I'm less confident in Zu's contract getting guaranteed. _________________ "Suck it up. I tbh think Bryant could play backup 4 actually. But there'd still be a place for Bryant.
If we signed Paul George, re-upped Randle, and re-signed Isaiah Thomas.
The team looks like this, if we got no one else.
Lonzo Ball
Paul George
Brandon Ingram
Julius Randle
Ivica Zubac
Bench:
Isaiah Thomas
Josh Hart
Sviatoslav Mykhailiuk
Kyle Kuzma
Moritz Wagner / Thomas Bryant _________________ How NBA 2K18 failed the All-Time Lakers:

I can picture Brook's return as a likely event unless LeBron comes on. I see Zubac and Wagner on board for depth at center and I am assuming Randle gets the lion's share there anyway as main or main backup. TB's chances as a Laker seem poor for his actually getting the minutes needed with any of the main players to improve at center (10-15 MPG, regularly.) One of these pieces doesn't fit.
