Pelicans?

I would think that they're happy with their Randle contract

Rondo for randle awesome trade.

I think the Stephenson one is the most iffy deal.

But I'm hoping LBJ and Magic see something in him that us fans cannot understand.

Love it

Yeah, as a whole this team could actually come together and really bother some of the better teams. Guarantee nobody in the NBA will look forward to playing us that is for sure..

Worst case scenario, we let all the 1 year guys go and go after another max to replace them with or whatever else is available next off season. At the end of the day we had zero chance of matching the Warriors offensively this season so I do not mind this approach the more I think about it. Not to mention all the intangibles like as much as I dislike Rondo from the Celtic days he will be a fantastic mentor for Lonzo along with Lance going at Brandon all season in practice.

What are some shooters available on the market?

C - Cousins, Brook Lopez, Channing Frye
PF - Nowitzki, Mbah a Moute, Nemanja Belinca, Dante Cunningham, Quincy Acy, Luke Babbitt, Travis Wear
SF - ?
SG - Wayne Ellington, Tyreke Evans, Avery Bradley(not great shooter), Jamal Crawford(declining), Gerald Green, Nick Young(no thanks), Bryn Forbes(RFA), Treveon Graham
PG - ? Not really need unless Lonzo is traded

Gerald Green resigned with Houston. Don’t like anyone in that list. Ellington completely choked in the play offs. I’m happy with this team just add Boogie or trade for Kawhi. Done

Each of the 9 players ahead of Rondo in assists average is either in or headed to the Hall of Fame.

You see Randle in the Hall of Fame?

I liked Julius, but we didn't blow it unless he starts shooting the three at over 35% next season.

Agree. One of the smarter players in the league. Unfortunately there won't be much a difference when Lonzo is out and Rondo is in. They're basically the same type of player offensively since they can't shoot well. After his playing career is over I'd love to see if he'd want to join the coaching staff.

Rondo is extremely intelligent.

Spot on. Rondo will be good for Lonzo. I know he had problems with some team mates in Boston, but his Pelican team mates have already come out and said they would miss him.

I can’t think of one center on our roster that should be considered a starter in this league. With that said, as currently constructed who do most people predict will be our starting center next year?

If we could land Lopez that would go a long way.

Rondo
KCP
BI
LBJ
Lopez

Zo
Hart
Koozy
Wagner

Those are probably the 9 I'd roll with.

When you look at the multi-year contracts received by inexperienced guys like Doug McDermott and Joe Harris got based off pretty good shooting in 1 season, the contracts for guys with more established track records like Rondo and Stephenson aren't that bad. A little over-priced, sure, but that's typically the deal with 1-year contracts.

Should have been Randle. Im not sure how Rob and Magic couldnt have given him a vision of premium minutes at the five.

He has had success playing in a pick and roll offense before. He may thrive in Luke's system. He also likes to run and takes it to the basket.

Fixed my post btw (subtracted KCP from the bench). I'm really not all that disappointed with that roster all things considered. Do I think it could be better with different signings? Definitely. But it's a solid squad.

Yeah...if no Boogie...i would go with Lopez. It you’re not including McGee in the rotation. Believe he he’s going to get some run
