Lakers "are the laughingstock since the Lebron" signing? What the hell? Their moves have been solid. Wow, how about if Lebron didn't sign and the FO was doing Moz/Deng type of long terms deals, would everyone be happier then?

Crazy how spoiled rotten we can be. We just got the best player on the planet. Surrounding him with some defensive minded players. Let a guy leave who asked to leave and now the Lakers world is crumbling down.

Incredible

The Lakers have renounced their free-agent exception rights to guard Andre Ingram and power forward Travis Wear, according to the RealGM transactions log. The Lakers had a cap hold of $1.338MM on Ingram and $1.5MM on Wear. Ingram appeared in two games with Los Angeles last season, while Wear saw action in 17 games.

If you make that trade, you are worse off than now.

Kawhi with the young guys is what allows the Lakers to compete.

Lebron and Kawhi without Kuz, Ingram and Hart has no chance against GSW and is worse off than current roster. Still need a real team, not just Lebron, Kawhi and journeymen guys.

This. I think it might be smart to wait on KL now unless we can pull him in cheap.

Don’t trade for Kawhi now. Hope he comes in next year and pray the Knicks rumors are true and KD dips to New York next summer

IF there was interest on both sides, does this just mean we didn't offer or that Cousins didn't want to play with LeBron. Because we had the money... So at this point its either we weren't interested or he didn't want to play with LeBron. Its one or the other.

Don’t overreact guys. With his achilles boogie would just be a taller version of David west, good for 15-20 min a game, limiting to midrange shooter.

BRO LO a better fit.

He can step out and make a shot and is a surprisingly good post player.

His Stanford IQ and vet experience is a great fit with L.A. Bron also.

Cousins is a one year rental. If anything, it ensures we won't overpay to trade for KL this season.

No one is worried about Cousins

You wouldn't worry about him with any other team other than GSW... Boston ... or us.

Those were the only places where he could do damage because the rest of the team was so good they could cover his ass.

That's why now we need to swallow our pride and get Dwight.

Lopez will lose the battle of the Zootopia sloths.

It’s gonna happen, only because it seems like the 2019 Season will be a wild ride.

There’s a good reason why boogie took a 5m deal. He’s probably rehabbing for most of the year. We shall see what he looks like when he’s actually playing.

Who cares we weren't going to compete with them this year anyways.

Now the Lakers have more reason to just chill and not trade the young players for Kawhi now when you can get him in 2019, when KD might leave to the Knicks with Kyrie, along with Klay as a free agent coming up. Cousins is just the back up plan if/when one of KD or Klay leave the Warriors.

Man, Maginka thought they were so smart getting the jump on Javale. If we let the Warrirors resign Javale, Boogie would be here. What a freaking backfire. The irony here is similar to Cavs trading for JC and Nance allowing us to sign Lebron.

Why do you believe that? They would've just got both JaVale and Boogie. JaVale is a vet min guy, Boogie is getting the taxpayer MLE. Boogie might not be back until March so they could've used JaVale to fill the gap in the regular season.

- We weren't competing with GSW this year irregardless of this move
- It's a one year deal - they can't keep him long-term in all likelihood
- This might make Maginka more patient in going after Kawhi right away

No, this is an F**k you to New Orleans for not believing in him.

He was going to beat them in the playoffs no matter how low the fee.

Gotta respect that about him.

Now we need to do the same with Dwight! Let him resurrect his name in the city where it first turned to sh*t...

There is no frickin way Dwight is in a Laker uniform next year. Shaq has better odds of being on the roster.

Tell me the team you are putting out there to beat the Warriors.

I hear you complaining but I haven't seen your solution.

Maybe you have a better idea... my mind is open if you know someone else that can neutralize Boogie.

You're not beating the Warriors--you never were. We were always looking to next year. Unfortunately, it seems we want to "win now" (although the moves we've made don't actually accomplish that) and I'm sure Magic and Pelinka won't be able to hold their wad trading for Kawhi. Lebron will be miserable with this roster.
