''If that's not enough, this is also the Lakers and you'd get to play in LA at Staples Center.'' Frye will be a free agent, too, and the veteran forward would like to stay in LA.
''(Expletive), it's the Lakers,'' he said. ''I want to allow them to make the right decisions with bigger-name guys. I'm a pretty good backup, emergency break-the-glass-type guy.'' |

After seeing what LeBron puts his coaches through, I don't want that fate for Luke. |
He even tried to get rid of a great coach in Spoelstra. In his defense, nobody knew he was a great coach yet but he seems to have a problem with any coach or authoritative figure for that matter. |

Impending free agent Channing Frye believes the Los Angeles Lakers are a place that superstars will want to play in the future.

Regardless of I go back to the Lakers or not respect is always due to what they’ve accomplished.Channing Frye added,

Classy, intelligent player. I would love to have him back in the P&G for perhaps the vet minimum. |

This is one friend of Luke's that I wouldn't mind them keeping around. |

After spending most of his career playing for Western Conference rivals like Portland and Phoenix, Frye said, “There’s a sense of style, a sense of pride when you put this Lakers uniform on that I used to not like. But it’s growing on me.” |
I hope we bring Frye back for vet min so we can see his snapchat/IG stories and get free social media back stage passes lol
He can fill out the end of the bench and prepare for a coaching role if he wants to pursue that path |

Hopefully he’s brought back. Not only does he have history with LeBron, but the team is still in dire need of shooting, especially from bigs. _________________ “Christ did not die to forgive sinners who go on treasuring anything above seeing and savoring God. I like Frye as a person. Always seemed like a good due. But the guy is getting slower and slower.
*sigh* But if he takes the min, we need to fill out the roster with people who can shoot. so, may as well. _________________ "We got a new universe coming and he's going to control all our universes. We're going to put our universes together" - Metta World Peace |

I'd love to have him back as well.
Not only for his resume and what he can bring to the team as a player, but also the fact he can be a bridge for Luke and last years Lakers and LeBron.
Plus he's one of those savvy veteran guys who you can rely when needed. |

Frye wouldn't be my first choice to use any of the remaining cap space on, but he has played with LBJ before and can get hot from 3 in a limited role. _________________ Love, Laker Lanny |

Wonder if Frye was sent here by Lebron to spy on the atmosphere at Lakers? Almost certain he will be back as a vet. |
