Well, good luck Brook. He was a nice guy and a good player. We'll miss his three (especially on NBA2k )

Amazing how little value Cs have in the market now.

He isn't strong enough. He'll get bullied down there.

He can play spot minutes. I'm thinking there is another plan in place. We'll see.

What also irks me about this is this deal would have a low cap hold next year, too.

I have a suspicion they are getting into to go with a fair amount of Kuzma.

They must have a lot of faith in Zubac, unless there's some free agency signing that the Lakers are aiming for.

Take a breath people. B-Lo, or whatever you choose to call him, is not "make or break."

I think Lebron is going to play 10-15 minutes per game at C this year, similar to Draymond.

What do you guys think of the Bucks summer league center Christian Wood? Showing lots of potential as a young run swat and shoot center. Looked good to me a couple years ago and still does to me now. Cheap center addition😀

If that's true, I'm super confused. I like this FO and trust them (even if I don't understand all the moves so far), but what's the plan here?

Zu bout to get some serious minutes, I guess.

Thats the thinking I see from management. Gotta give those young players playing time if you want to see them progress.

just sign melo and play him at the 4....put lebron at center from time to time and give melo's zubacks and mcgee minutes versus certain teams..melo can be our 6th man and he'll still get a lot of playing time. if he's understandable, i'll bring him in.

btw, i like lopez but his lack of speed was a liability at times and you can tell the lakers arent going for that. but melo definitely fits into their position less basketball..and would make us more dangerous if he buys in.

Thanks for your efforts last season, Brook! Those games where you were on a roll were awesome.

Brook was a major disappointment this year after his 20 ppg in his last season with the Nets. If he didn't knock down his 3s, he was useless.

Thanks for the one year tho.

I wont be losing sleep over this. Was never a fan of his weak game, a center who can't grab a rebound. And worst of all, he never knew when to stop shooting when his shot was off. Some players need to keep shooting when they miss, he isn't one of them players.

He was also a sneaky ball hog. Holds the ball for 6+ seconds and constantly throws up awkward contested shots.

We do need a starting C, Mo can’t handle NBA C’s. He can hardly
keep up with the summer league ones. Unless McGee & Zu are getting
assignment, good luck, we need a C.

So dumb. Probably gonna be the worst three-point shooting team in the league...again. This team is really going to struggle to score at times. I literally have no idea what they’re doing. This is just inept team building. It doesn’t make sense.

What I’m fearful of now is that this weird “plan” in how they’ve constructed the roster will be such an enormous failure that the team will struggle from the get go, LeBron will be frustrated, and they’ll end up having to sacrifice some of the youth to add shooting and undo this incoherent way they’ve built the roster. Ugh.

Boston traded for him last season and he was completely unusable in the playoffs.

The rebuild is over, bro. This is supposed to be about winning now.

I don't think we're gonna sign him unfortunately. Seems like we're waiting for Melo or keeping that space for a possible Kawhi trade. It doesn't seem like Lopez is in our plans otherwise he would be signed already.

For some odd reason I agree. It's too many people assuming he's automatic with our remaining cap space. I really hope I'm wrong.

I wasn’t wrong
