|
|
I spent a night last week at an airbnb and the host said we were welcome to anything in the fridge + pantry, which were pitifully stocked, yet their contents met the standards of our condition that night
1 lb 80/20 ground chuck
1 can of manwich™ "bold" sauce. "Bold" means it's essentially a can of ketchup
1 cup of kraft instant microwavable mac n cheese
great value sandwich bread (wheat)
great value american cheese slices
a jalapeno (chopped into coins)
an avocado (hastily cut open and pitted; the pit rolled off of the counter and onto the carpet, leaving a snail trail)
cooked and sauced the meat and then toasted the bread. slopped the manwich atrocity onto one piece of bread, then came the kraft cheesy magma on top of that, then threw on the jalapenos, and then I finessed the "cheese" onto the lukewarm bottom bread which didn't nearly melt it. I made 3 sandwiches the same way so that my mates and I could have the same adventure.
do not try this. this was, to my sincere disappointment, the worst sandwich of my lifetime. i took two bites, dumped it into the sink, and then went to bed hungry. _________________ "All wars are civil wars, because all men are brothers."

Peanut butter, cream honey, banana slices on toasted sourdough bread. It's now a staple of my normal diet. |

Yup. When I go home and visit my mom and dad, I'll wake up and make myself a little "perrito" - a Persian burrito i.e. take whatever heavenly meal my mom made and put it into a pita wrap (or sangak, a plain Persian flatbread). yum
and during thanksgiving, I make the moist-maker, of course. |

Used 2 slices of pizza as the bread and sandwiched: deli turkey, roast beef, avocado, swiss cheese, jalapenos, tomatoes, onions
Came out pretty good but I was also quite baked |

tbqh that was the best element in the whole thing. The meat was awful, bread 1 week past its sell-by, the cheese was american, the avocado was a couple of days premature. _________________ "All wars are civil wars, because all men are brothers."
