KCP is better coming off screens and better playing the passing lanes. For the record, I prefer Hart long-term and he's one of my favorite players. |
KCP needs to be put on short leash shot selection wise this year, personally I think Hart is a better fit for the offense. _________________ Love, Laker Lanny |

I think he's a better fit on both ends of the floor. Why? Well, supposedly (I believe they do) the Lakers place a premium on bballIQ. Josh, at least to me, is the unquestionable winner in that department. |

Regardless if Hart or KCP starts I’m sure we can agree that one will be coming off the bench, along with Rondo & Kuzma, that’s a hell of a reserve unit if you ask me! |

I feel the only reason he had such a big green light last season was because we lacked a primary creator/go to scorer. With the addition of LeBron I don’t think shot selection will be an issue if he does start. I’d love to see Hart on the starting unit but either way I’m rejoicing how good our bench will be this year! Considering our G League bench of last season!! |

Do you have the numbers for that? Not saying you're wrong I'd just like to see the data of each players effectiveness by play type |
Here are some numbers to draw your own conclusions.
KCP
ORPM .88
DRPM -0.32
RPM 0.56
Hart
ORPM 0.31
DRPM -1.04
RPM -0.73
KCP
OBPM .6
DBPM .4
BPM 1
Hart
OBPM -.3
DBPM .2
BPM -.1
not what you asked for but something to look at |
This is awesome.. where do you get this incredible data from?
Also, what do the negatives signify? _________________ Starting Lakers Dynasty6.0! NOW!!

Starter level guard which means we have expandable $12mil KCP expiring and $4mil Lance expiring if there’s a disgruntled star that wants to come here |

I'd go with a starting backcourt of Ball/Hart. So much backcourt, so little down low. |

I missed most of the game but it seems like at the end there was some sort of confrontation with Hart and scrub. Was something happening throughout the game with Hart and the scrub? |

I love this kid. He's looking like a beast in summer league. I'm hoping he takes Lance's minutes as the season progresses. |

I see no need to play Lance other than to piss off the other team.
Just run
Lonzo/Rondo
KCP/Josh
BI/Josh/Kuz
LeBron/Kuz
Javale/LeBron/Moe |

Hart @ the '1'
Ingram @ the '2'
LeBron @ the '3'
Kuzma @ the '4'
Javale @ the 5 - notice the only set position here
As things stand this is our most dynamic line up on the offensive side im sure. Unless Lonzo comes back with a three pointer or driving capabilities, his playmaking I think wont really be needed. |

No offense and welcome to the forum, but I disagree. Ingram at the 1 or 3 is ideal. Sometimes the 4. Hart at the 2 or 3. And Lebron at the 4 or 5. |

How many casual Lakers fan do you know from work or in real life think Josh Hart is trash or never even heard of him. This Lebron to the Lakers has all the stupids talking like they know (bleep). |

I agree except that Kuzma will play Center this year quicker than he will play SF, and Deng will be the fifth member of the above PF/C quartet.
This team will be good and Stephenson will eventually have to understand that he’s here to be an old-ass Metta World Peace. _________________ A creative scorer, a wing defender, and a shooter. |

One year contract players essentially have no trade clauses, so they ain't leaving unless they want to. |

The most dynamic offensive lineup has a center that can only convert lobs and can't hit free throws? |

I think maybe its time for the thread title to move on from last year's draft...? _________________ "We got a new universe coming and he's going to control all our universes. We're going to put our universes together" - Metta World Peace |

So true!
I personally hate player threads that are opened and then ignored/not maintained....this one is really drastic though. |

If PG goes to the hole like Hart, he'd be worth his $30 million. He's not a poor man's PG, he's an original Josh Hart. |
