Djo is puckering up to the crowd. At first I thought he was kissing his wife. He puckered to different part of the crowd, areas where she was sitting. What's that all about?

He was annoyed that most of the crowd was not cheering for him, so he was basically saying (bleep) you to the crowd while he took over the match. Let's just say his mental game does not seem to be strong at the moment

He used to get mad. Sometime that would throw him off his game. I think he went to a sport shrink to calm himself down. I use to think he played better when mad, guess i was wrong.

Battle of the mothers. #181 Serena Williams schooled #121 Evgeniya Rodina

6-2 6-2

Watching Nadal vs Vesely. I wish they would do something about the grunting. It's not as bad as screeching but still annoying.

They'll never stop the grunting, but I'm glad they've started enforcing time violations. Nadal, Djokovic, and Del Potro are notorious for these time-wasting/momentum killing tactics.

Yeah, especially Djo. I counted him bouncing the ball 5 times off the racket +15 times on the catch and bounce. That has to be distracting to an opponent. He had a rather easy time with #40 Khachanov 6-4 6-2 6-. Djo's #21

One of my favorites #44 Monfils went down to #8 Anderson 7-6 7-6 7-5 7-6

Nadal vs Federer is still on the books for the finals.

Del Potro vs. Nadal will be awesome on grass. Nadal in 4 is my prediction.

Kevin Anderson. First Wimbledon semi-final ever. Played really well after the 1st set, and hit winners and aces all day to victory. Sad that Fed is out, but this guy deserved to win.

Federer vs Nadal won't happen. #8 Anderson took out #2 Federer
6-2 7-6 5-7 4-6 11-13

I don't like the have to win by 2 games format. I thought Damn, is this another Isner vs Mahut? 6–4, 3–6, 6–7, 7–6, 70–68 (3 days)

What an opportunity for Isner to reach a Grand Slam final here. Draws Anderson in the semifinal, and Anderson had to go to 13-11 in the 5th against Federer. This is the surface and this is the time for Isner to make it happen. I hate his game but this is his chance.

This Isner/Anderson match is shaping up to be quite a battle.

^^ Yeah 2 tie breaks. He's 33, Anderson 32, but Isner's shown he can last. Evidenced by the Isner–Mahut tie break at the 2010 Wimbledon, 70–68 (3 days). That tie break had me tired.

And this is why the 2 point advantage to win the tie-breaker is so important. You need someone to actually break the tie by putting an end to the back and forth.

Wimbledon is the only tournament I know that uses a 2 game advantage to win the match. That's why Isner–Mahut took so long. Took two days to get back to back game wins.

That's the besides the point. In a game as tightly contested as this, it is much more entertaining to let the battle play out.

Wasn't trying to make a point, making mention. Finally got a 6-4 win by Anderson.

Anderson 7-6 6-7 6-7 6-4
Isner 6-7 7-6 7-6 4-6

🎾 5th set tie break must win 2 back to back games. Second time Isner's been in this. Another 70–68 (3 days)

17-17. Both players showing fatigue. Who ate their Wheaties today? Anderson looks the fresher of the two.
