Aside from historically great shooting, the underrated aspect of the Warriors great play is their secondary creation...mostly by Draymond but also others. Steph/KD/Klay draw gravity but when you can exploit that with Draymond who then rips a team's defense apart with his playmaking then you're dead.
GSW can actually run 2 different initiators depending on who they want to pull out of the paint with Draymond and Iggy...
... Then let the 3 best shooters in the league, shoot.
That's where GSW is scary. _________________ Resident Car Nut.

Yup. When the initial gravity creator passes to Dray, the defense is already in a tizzy at that point and scrambling. Then he picks apart the defense with 3 historically great shooters.
Totally not fair. _________________ From 2-10 to the Western Conference Finals
After watching a few vids that GT did on BI, I think Ingram is going to exploit defenses that are compromised by LeBron's offensive gravity. BI is still maturing as an iso scorer, but he was great at attacking the rim when the opposing defense was out of position. That's going to happen a lot with LeBron on the floor. BI won't be the only one to benefit either. Kuz and Hart are going to see a lot of great looks at the rim as well.
A lot has been made about the lack of shooting on the team, but the truth is that LeBron's gravity creates not just good looks from the perimeter but opens up driving lanes for players who are capable of exploiting those holes. LeBron hasn't had this many guys on his team who can attack the rim when the defense is compromised.
Great post all of the the young core can attack the rim Just having Lebron on the court is going to make that easier this year Lebron hasn't had this since his days in Miami
I admit im not the biggest lebron fan. But im worried about the youth around him. I can't remember any young player thriving with lebron. If anything a lot of players decline with him because hes so ball dominant. and ingram playing similar position as lebron, not too optimistic
Where did that new user Endless (something) go? He was waving the Ingram flag pretty hard for us just a few weeks ago. Now I’ll just look crazy again along with SocalDevin. 🤪
I used the Endless account because I got drunk and changed my password one day so I couldn't access this account. Omar Little was nice enough to help hook it up with my old account again. I'm still here on team Ingram tho _________________ “Life is too short. You have to keep it moving.” - Kobe
He's not the most explosive jumper but I don't know how anyone can look at him and say he is "unathletic and slow". He shows a real ability to be able to get to the basket and he shows a real ability to finish around the dunk. This video only show cases his dunks but he is shooting 67% at the rim, when nearly 40% of his attempts come at the rim.
This dude will be one of the best finishers at the rim this season, putting him next to Lebron will be scary for the rest of the league. _________________ “Life is too short. You have to keep it moving.” - Kobe

Maybe somewhere in the middle, James Worthy wasn't a high flyer.
Yea. Definitely somewhere in between Shawn Kemp and Kendall Marshall. LOL.
Either way, that length just makes up for any hops he may not have. Woo wee!

He had some impressive hops in games before he got hurt. It looked like he was playing slightly injured a lot of last year, IMO.

@Mookielala Agreed, he had more speed as well before injured.
@Epak, I was thinking the same thing as well, his length does make up the difference, even though he gets up when he isn't injured.

Kyrie? On the ball dominant thing, Wade too.
Kyrie definitely thrived because he didn't have as much pressure on him, but he also didn't want to play with Lebron after a while. Hoping that doesn't happen with our younguns as well.

What really good young players did they have?
Chalmers did alright for himself. Wade did well.
Obviously LBJ has a shift in his mentality. He wouldn't have come here if he was a 28 year old version of himself. Plus, we haven't traded our guys when it's pretty likely that we could have made a few moves if that was the goal. _________________ From 2-10 to the Western Conference Finals

Yea, but he has more get up than Worthy.
What? Worthy was much quicker, faster and explosive. Worthy was great in the low post and running the break. BI is a better ball handler and outside shooter. BI had a similar low post turn around jumper. Defensively BI has a chance to be better and more versatile.
I see BI as a more all around guy who can play the 1-4 while Worthy was strictly a 3/4. Worthy low post game and running the break were as good as anyone.

I said Ingram had more "get up" meaning hops.. None of those other things, which are debatable. I'm well acquainted with Worthy's game, he had the prettiest game on the block that I've seen. Not saying he was the best ever in the low post, but his moves were a thing of beauty. But yea, all I'm saying is Ingram has more hops, nothing more. Also Worthy wasn't all that fast, nor would I characterize him as explosive.
