LeBron won't play center. He needs possession off on the defensive end, he is 34. The center will be involved in heavy pick and roll action

Lonzo 28/Rondo 20
Hart 28/KCP 20
Ingram 36/ Kuzma 12
LeBron 36 / Kuzma 12
Wagner 24 / McGee 12 / Zu 12

Closing lineup Rondo Hart Ingram LeBron and Wagner. I think this lineup has enough shooting and switching capability

Not a great fan, but I cannot find a better option on our roster right now.

Mines is
LA Bron
Kuzma
Ingram
Hart
Rondo

Take out Hart and replace him with Stephenson for defensive purposes when going up against those offensive powerhouses

Hart is definitely the better defender!!

He can, but he will only see regular minutes only if Hart, KCP and Ingram struggle with their shot or we have an injury. Hope that will not be the case.

Really loving the progression of Hart’s game. Would like to see him start but either way we will have a great reserve unit with him on it.

Wagner / McGee
LeBron / Kuzma
Ingram / Stephenson / Svi
KCP / Hart
Lonzo / Rondo

I’m really excited about the depth this season. Last season we had a G League bench!!

Rondo Hart Kuzma.. this will be one of the best benches in the league!!

Let's assume Lonzo finds some consistency in his shot and Stevenson plays up to the player we know he can be, a poor man's paul george.

Sick defensive line-up. I think we'll get a ton of steals due to BronZo elite court vision usage on defensive side.

Possibly best court vision duo in history.

Sick passing

+ Run you out the building

+ Decent enough shooting Shooting. Everyone is enough of a threat to keep things flowing.

It's plausible right???

The name BronZo sounds like a Marvel villain who is made of bronze.

Stephenson* lol

I don't know what it is about LG that makes so many people butcher named lol. Even last season we still had people spelling Randle as ”Randall.” I get annoyed every time I see people spell Jeanie as ”Jeannie.” Or even LeBron as ”Lebron.” Yalls needs to stop drinking from the tap

I followed this thread pretty much from the start and can deduce that the damage done by Coach Scott is long lasting.
Why the heck would you play players out of their position?
Kuzma is no C (not strong enough) and not a good SF (we have better options there).
Mykhailiuk is a SF. He is not quick enough to guard SG (at least in the real NBA).
Hart is not a SF. He is as clear a SG as can be.
Wagner can maybe play C, but in a few years. Not right away and certainly not against starting C-s. He is just not strong enough.

Maybe the trademark on these Lakers is versatility and an ability to play multiple positions. LeBron is an epitome of that. But that does not mean you must aim for that. It is only a way to ruin players career. There is a reason why LBJ insists on being (primarily) a SF.

Svi is def shooting guard quick. Dude uses all of his twitch on every play and has great motor.. he moves around quick out there. I think his short limbs probably help him move around like a 6’6 guy even though he’s 6’8. He’s def SG quick, he’s quicker than Klay and a lot of SGs

Wagner is a Center today

I also think that Wagner (given we don't sign another center) will end up starting (and probably closing) at some point this season. Really hope his knee injury is not too bad and doesn't hinder his summer development any.

Wagner can stretch the floor and that works best with LeBron. Also, you can't have McGee on the floor with Rondo/Zo too much because then your spacing gets even worse.

I'm thinking we did not retain Brook because Maginka wants to give Wagner minutes.

Think of a lineup like this

Rondo or Zo
KCP or Hart
Ingram
LeBron
Wagner

5 passers, 4 shooters and 3 playmakers. That is not a lineup that will be easy to stop. And it can play defense, too.

Wagner has a lot to learn, but he already can shoot and score and he has the right mindset. He's not afraid, he has swag. He wants to improve, including on defense. And he's big. He's 6' 10.5" barefoot. That's a big guy, particularly for a guy with his shooting ability and relative agility.

Really would like to sign Beasley or nwaba for more depth just in case of injuries. With one of these guys the roataton won’t take a huge hit. Also Lakers goal should play Lebron the least amount minutes possible. Keep him fresh for that playoff run.

This is a highly opinionated forum but what in the world?

Basically trade Ingram and Deng's contract to make room for Beasley and Harrell? I don't even think Harrell is signed. Beasley at this point in his career is a bench player on a good team or a de facto starter on a tanking team.

Zu-24/McGee-16/Wagner-8
LeBron-34/Kuz-14
Ingram-32/Kuz-16
KCP-28/Hart-20
Ball-28/Rondo-20

No minutes for Lance unless you want him to eat into Hart, Kuzma, or Ingrams PT...
