Kinda hoping Cleveland wins. Want to see Caruso versus Sexton.

LeBron James sits courtside for Lakers-Pistons at summer league
Quote:

In Laker purple and gold shorts, LeBron James strolled to his courtside seat just before tip-off of the Los Angeles Lakers-Detroit Pistons matchup at the Thomas & Mack Center in Las Vegas.

It's the first time that LeBron has seen his new team in action since signing his four-year, $153.3 million deal.

Josh Hart is going to be CJ McCollum with great defense

Better defender but McCollum has become a professional scorer capable of 23 ppg. He is able to generate his own offense on good efficiency. Not many of those around.

I love the focus that Hart brings every game. These are just summer league games, but he treats each game as if something is on the line. A solid consistent performer.

Josh and Svi are both killing it this summer.

Anyone knows why they don't play Malik except garbage time? He looked pretty good!

I think they mentioned a few games ago that he has been dealing with a sprained ankle or something like that.

Name 10 better players from that draft.

I will pass...a 22 year old Hart would not be a Top 8 pick in last years draft.

your comment literally makes zero sense.....I like Hart....I get everyone is excited about the way he looks in SL....if you find comfort in believing he would be a Top 8 pick, I am good with that....my comment was not in response to you or anything you claimed, and because I choose not to comply with your request because of it being pointless....as in drafts do not work that way....as in drafting the player that is best as of this date or that date...there really is no need for the adolescent response.

Not necessarily better, but teams still draft base on age and ceiling. Some of the top guys will still go ahead simply because of age. Top 15 is a safer bet than top 8. I've seen various re-draft articles, most have Josh Hart moving 10 to 12 spots up. This one by the BIG LEAD, has him moving up 18 spots.

It seems like it. He was annoying as hell. Doris Burke is way better.

The list below is projecting forward (and assuming the best case on a few guys who really I'd prefer to list lower than Josh), not how I'd currently rank these players - the following players should surpass Hart if they haven't already, this actually has me listing him right at 15th and not exactly sure long-term I'd place him over Bam... Sorry dude it was a loaded draft, think about it this way - we likely drafted 3 of the top 15 players in one of the most loaded drafts of the past several years

Jayson Tatum
Donovan Mitchell
Lonzo Ball
John Collins
Lauri Markannen
Jonathan Isaac
Kyle Kuzma
OG Anunoby
Josh Jackson
Markelle Fultz
Malik Monk
DSJ
Jarrett Allen
De'Aaron Fox
Josh Hart
Bam Adebayo

Other good prospects or on the come up who can sneak into the conversation: Semi Ojeleye, Luke Kennard, Derrick White, Jordan Bell, Tony Bradley, Frank Mason, Dillon Brooks, & even Zach Collins showed some flashes towards the end of last season

Draft was deep... cue.

And straight up, as they stand right now, I'd take Josh Hart over most of those players on that list. Not based on Summer League performance. Based on how he played against real NBA players when given the opportunity in the second half of his rookie season.

I think this whole thing has turned into two separate conversations. The draft is a different beast. If you asked me if I would rather have Josh Hart or DeAaron Fox.....I would choose Hart 10 out of 10 times.....but in a redraft, Sacramento is still going to draft a 19 year old Fox @ #5 over a 22 year old Hart. Chicago is still going to choose Lauri, etc. etc.
