Those shorts were corny as all hell.
Lakers across the front? Ugly and funny-looking.
If y’all saw those shorts anywhere else except on James’ body, you all know you would be calling them ugly as hell too.
They look like something fake and pretentious that you might see at a swap meet or flea market, like some aftermarket, bootleg isht from China. |
Those shorts on LeBron are 🔥 |
I love that James is on the Lakers, but ugly shorts are ugly shorts ... no matter who’s wearing them. You can like the dude, respect his game, and honor him asa person without worshipping his every move. He’s a man — just a man. |
Those shorts on LeBron, who is just a man, are 🔥 |

This is one of the funniest exchanges... ever |

I don’t like that look at all. He already has a mellow personality, with that hair he looks even more lazy and nonchalant, not a good look professionally and personally. |

I dont't understand? Why can't someone just say they like the shorts? Why does it just have to be about Lebron?
I think the shorts are nice. Maybe I would not have seen them if Lebron didn't wear them? |

the fact that Lebron is proudly wearing a Lakers apparel is cool in my book. I've hated the guy hard before but this was a truly cool move from Lebron. I like it. |

The notion that LeBron came here for business and entertainment reasons isn’t accurate, especially since he’s engaged with the team and players. |

In a weird sort of way, that 2015 draft class Russell, Nance netted LeBron
- 28 million in cap savings (Mozgov and Clarkson)
- Kyle Kuzma
- Mo Wagner
You could argue the 3 things above were highly attractive to LeBron
Incredible value in retrospect, maybe we owe DLo and thank you

It doesn't have to be one or the other. We can be sure that his reasons for choosing the Lakers had a lot more depth than just a one dimensional paradigm. If the Lakers and the Grizzlies swapped rosters, I doubt he would've had serious interest in joining the Grizzlies. _________________ “Christ did not die to forgive sinners who go on treasuring anything above seeing and savoring God. I give him credit for keeping his value compared to Clarkson or JR both of them couldn't dump Deng or Moz |

Randle popped a year too Late, I’m sure teams are highly skeptical of contract year boosts in production, had he popped in 2016/17 we could’ve gotten real value for him last off-season.... I think him and Anthony Davis together are going to be a problem, Wish we could’ve found a way to shed Deng and keep him |

I honestly believe Lebron's favorite team is and always will be the Lakers. On the down low of course. Because how can you say that? When Kobe was the king when you came in, then you do your thing in Miami. Ultimately fullfilling your promise to Cleveland.
He could of went anywhere (somehow that team would of made it happen), he chose L.A. He's known for being a Yankee's fan and Cowboys fan. I am almost exactly the same age as this man. Those correlate with the dominant teams of the time at 10, 11, 12 years old, it makes perfect sense. Lebron loves a winner.
When I was 10, I loved the Lakers, but I also loved Jordan, so I get that. But I still don't remember all of Jordan. 1996, Lebron was eleven years old, trust, at 12, 13, 14 Kobe was most certainly his favorite player.
It may be possible as Lebron grew up hearing about how Kobe was selfish and not a team player it helped form his basketball personality. There was alot of pressure on this guy from the jump. |

This is a good point. Lakers are the one franchise in the league that literally pack arenas nationwide. It’s what made Kobe’s farewell tour so special, the fact that he had thousands of fans rooting him and the Lakers on one last time. Of course, this has always been the case with us on the road. You would always have the subtle MVP chants when Kobe was at the FT line, and the loud cheers and ooh’s and ahh’s when he would score. LeBron would get that too as a Cav, but not to the extent that he will a Laker. We have the best and most passionate fans that show up across the country to cheer us on. He’s going to see the appreciation for his greatness magnified in the purple and gold. _________________ I miss you Kobe. I miss you Gigi. |
