Cavs?

Warriors?

Rockets?

I'm pulling for the good old days with the Celtics at Staples!

(I know it might be a bit early, but I'm bored and thinking ahead...)

Celtics.

LeBron in purple and gold and Kyrie in ugly Celtics green is too good not to be the Christmas game.

Warriors. Both teams will be close to home. Continues the Lebron vs Warriors Xmas special.

Either the Warriors at Oracle, or the Celtics at Staples.

I'd prefer the Warriors over Celtics scums. The East without Lebron is now officially like the G-League. I wanna watch some real basketball.

Lakers @ Dubs would probably be better for opening night.

"Obvious" answer could be Warriors, but we gotta think about the ticket as a whole. If the Lakers play the Warriors, who do the Rockets play? Last year they played OKC, but they're above that now.

I could see:

Warriors X Rockets
Thunder X Timberwolves or Portland or Utah
Lakers X Celtics or Cavs
Maybe Spurs X Raptors? Idk

If the Celtics don't play us, they'll surely be playing someone else. Maybe the Sixers?

There's some fun matchups out there to be made.

Are there that many Cavs fans left to warrant an xmas day game? not enough for a season opener imo

I'd be surprised if it wasn't either GS or Boston. Will be a preview of either the WCF or the Finals.

And I'd want it to be one of the 2.

Lakers are now 1 of the marquee teams again, and it feels so good.

90% of that Cavs fanbase are Lakers fans now, so it might balance out. I expect Lakers/Celtics though. Kyrie/LeBron will be spun into a modern Shaq and Kobe feud.

I'm pretty sure it's going to be OKC.
King James vs Queen George.
