Stephenson is a star....put him on the biggest stage and watch him shine. We’re on national tv on a weekly basis in LA. Indiana only gets that type of attention when they are in the playoffs. Not only that but he’s on a 1 year deal...this is a tryout for him.
I'm going to take this quote from the Maginka thread and put it in the Stephenson thread:

The Lance Stephenson signing should tell you we dont have one.
Until you look at the fact that Harden and Dray have terrible numbers when playing against Lance. Sometimes it's not the global data we need to look at, but the fine grained data. Specific match ups are important sometimes. If Harden shoots 30% every time Lance is around because getting in his ear throws him off his game, then it's worth it.
I wanted to check out the head to head numbers of Lance vs Harden and Draymond and surprisingly Lance has held his own against both (although losing most of the contests).
Seems to be a lot of people down on the Lance signing.
He might be our backup pg if Zo's not ready by the beginning of the yr. When Zo's healthy, he will for sure be our 3rd option there behind Zo and Rondo.
He for sure is our 3rd option at SG behind KCP and Hart

Why are we this concerned over a 3rd option?
I agree with everything you said except 3rd string sf. I think he’s the backup 3
If he does things like this he will immediately feel the love from our fans. I love the way he holds the ball up like a gladiator with a decapitated head

It's been far too long. The thought of being in the playoffs gets me feeling giddy
Lance is only 27 years old lol he’s going to surprise a lot of laker fans. I expect him to be a fan favorite by the end of the season. Good call @jesus pointing out that someone on our coaching staff is familiar with the guy. Shaw probably co-signed for the kid.
Didn't Shaw co-sign for Mozgov??
I couldn't find an actual reference to him saying it, but here is the link to the LG thread that links Mozgov and Shaw (page 41). Just saying that these rumors of Shaw co-signing for players may not be accurate and/or good. _________________ “When the debate is lost, slander becomes the tool of the loser.”

And watching playoff LeBron in the P&G. Well....just watching LeBron in P&G is going to be awesome.

I have a feeling he will outplay his contract. _________________ Love, Laker Lanny

How many seasons did we have to endure Nick Young again? Lol.
Folks complaining about Lance is either short term memory loss that we signed LeBron or suffering PTSD from the Byron Scott era.
It feels good to have the luxury of "bad players" on the deep bench again, who would have been the best player on the team 3 years ago.

I have a feeling he won't. But it won't matter if he's getting 10 mpg anyway

Good point.
I think I gave him more than that in the depth chart thread, but also as a 10th man in the rotation kind of guy.
He could barely play which is why I (like you apparently) can't get too worked up about it win or lose for 1 year, $4.5 mm. _________________ Love, Laker Lanny

I have a feeling he will on nights he helps the Lakers, but will not on nights when he helps the other team.
Lance is a pain in the lower back, it'll be interesting to
see him on Harden. Harden seems to get rattled by
Lance types; that said, they're will be some
crossovers Lance will need to survive himself... _________________ Lakers need to build a freaking team !
