For all the talk about age...Ben Simmons just turned 22 and Kyle Kuzma just turned 23. Not bad for an old “college guy.”

I think he averaged 31 minutes per game last year. That would be awesome to get 6th man of the year.

Kuz is looking like he hired Sammy Sosa as his personal trainer. Sheesh. #PictureBooks

LOL is like you guys havent been watching the NBA. no 1 is playing thrugh their C anymore. if we play Kuzma at C teams will be FORCED to go small and if not we will basically be trading 3pt for 2pt. That is the GSW philosophy.

Imagine Gobert for example trying to post him up, then you have Ingram, Lebron, etf doubling him... Now imagine on the other side of the court. Gobert trying to stay with kuzma...

We have a bunch of guys who can rebound and push and kuzma will outrun C’s everytime and rim run every pos.

another thing is you dont want your C at the 3pt line with kuzma with leron attacking the basket.

Just checked. Kuzma weighed in at 226 lbs, 6’9 with a 7 foot wingspan and a very nice 8’11.5 standing reach.

Jordan bell weighed in at 223, 6’8, 6’11 ws, and an 8’8.5 standing reach.

Idk...maybe that’s why he seems to be bulking up this off-season.

Beasley also measures with a 7 foot wingspan and a 8’11 standing reach 🤔

Kevin love 6’11 wingspan and a 8’10 standing reach

Draymond green 7’1 wingspan and a 8’10 standing reach

My lineup changed again.

Lonzo Ball
Josh Hart
Brandon Ingram
Lebron James
Kyle Kuzma

Kuz gonna be a tank by the time season starts.

Thank You for this...

Also

Draft Lebron - 6’8” (6’9” now) 7’0.25” wingspan and 8’10.25” standing reach.

Julius Randle - 6’9”. 7’ Wingspan. 8’9.50” standing reach.

He measured 6'9.5" in shoes during the combine so he's taller than Draymond and Randle. His standing reach is also pretty good so he should be able to play center for short stretches as long as he bulks up. We still have a couple of months so let's see how he progresses. Definitely excited for training camp with all our young guns being gym rats

There is going to be a lot of competition for minutes this year as our talent level and depth are improved substantially.

It will be interesting to see how much Kuz has improved and how he responds to the increased competition. For that matter the same goes for Lonzo and BI. At least with Hart we got a glimpse in SL and we can see his improvement was substantial from one SL to the next.

I expect that Kuz grew a lot this off season as a player and physically got stronger and quicker and I can't wait to see some of the results of his hard work.

Good news! Kuz feels disrespected by his official NBA 2K rating, lol. Apparently he's motivated to prove 'em wrong:

His rating for next season is 78 of 100. Tatum by comparison is given an 87 rating despite having slightly worse stats (and playing in a weaker conference) almost across the board. Maybe part of his boost was due to making the playoffs and playing well there, however.

No way Tatum should be rated 87. If Tatum is an 87, Kuz should at least be 80 plus.

Tatum will be the better player, he might be now even though he is 3 years behind Kuz.

Maybe Tatum will end up be being better but Kuzma annihilated him at Staples when they played last year. Kuzma has got that dog in him so I would never doubt what he can become..

If that rating's projecting forward for Tatum's next season, I think it's deserved and he might end his season even higher than that.

I heard somewhere those Laker ratings are from this past year, not for the new release. idk. But 78 would be a JOKE

I don't think anyone's claiming that Tatum is a great defender?

Head-to-head, rookie-on-rookie, Kuzma showed out in a big way while Tatum struggled. If Kuzma had a chance to show his stuff during the playoffs the whole narrative would be different.

Tatum is almost 3 years younger than Kuzma do I am guessing they are expecting a bigger breakthrough next season.

He did average 18.5 PPG 4.4 RPG 2.7 APG 1.2 SPG in the
19 playoff games he played.

Stats for 2k is based on what they think they do the upcoming season.

Kuzma is gonna have to compete for minutes mainly at the 3 and 4. Considering Lebron, Ingram, Beasley, Wagner, Lance are on the team, I expect his minutes to be less than last year.

Bulked up Kuz at Center in our death lineup will be something special. We will run teams out of the building and make many centers unplayable at the end of games. Death lineup doesn’t always need to be the closing lineup especially when we play a team like Philly.
