This is the perfect opportunity for Lance and Beeezy to clean up their acts and shine on an even bigger stage. I hope that they are up to the task.

Then this calls for back 2 back breakout seasons, for both, to prove it was not a fluke!

Lance is 27, Beasley 29, these guys are in their primes and becoming more mature. With a 1 year contract, they both know this is the perfect opportunity to show up and get their value up. If somehow this group gels together on the court, I'm thinking championship baby! Ok, maybe that's overly optimistic.

Both players showed good attitudes last year, Beasley still is a good player. Lance needs to show he still has it on the floor.

He's played PF too. Pretty versatile b/c he's built like an ox. He's been "guarding" LBJ too who played both forward spots.

Very nice. When LBJ is on the floor, he will be getting those looks regularly.

Kind of funny to get help with your shooting form from a guy named Brickley. Hope it works and he becomes an efficient 3 point shooter, that'd be awesome.

Rondo
Hart
Lance
Kuzma
McGee or Zubac

Brickley is a well-known NBA trainer and one of the best as he has worked with and helped improve the game of the likes of Carmelo Anthony, JR Smith, Chris Paul, Enes Kanter, and several other stars in the league. The 27-year-old has the right trainer for sure.

Lance's biggest problem IMO is his motivation. When he's enjoying himself he can be special. The trick is to keep him focused.

Same here, his age gives him the chance to still develop into a good player, he has already shown he can make a difference when he’s mentally engaged.

This was the deal that surprised me most, as I thought that someone like Mbah a Moute would've been a great pick-up for the price - add to (or as it turned out, replace) Randle's switching defense with another guy who could cover 1-4.

Still, if Lance can be like a pocket Artest/ Metta and give that type of interceptor/ harassment D, that's a plus. AND if Lance, unlike Mbah A Moute, (whom I've liked since his UCLA days), can create his own shot and open up kick-out/ cutting opportunities for others, then that might allow us to have a more diverse half-court offense.

Lance is theoretically entering his prime this year at his age. Was not a huge fan of his signing because I thought he was redundant with Hart/KCP/Ingram, but with a worse jump shot.... but seeing this, if he's really fixed his jumper, he could break out and steal a lot of minutes from those guys.

It would be really nice if this group (Hart/KCP/Ingram/Stephenson + Beasley + Kuzma) was good enough to steal minutes from LBJ. It isn't expected.
