Just for fun.

If Kobe came back, and the Raptors offered Kawhi for Deng + Kobe + picks — would you do it? Haha.

Tough one.

Kobe would re-retire if that happened, lol.

I mean, he could do some real damage with the Raptors in the East.

He would find himself battling his hometown Sixers and rival Celtics in the playoffs.

If he made the finals, and faced the Warriors, it would suck to see him lose, but I'd be rooting for him.

If he made the finals, and faced us...well, I love you Kobe, my all time favorite player, but rooting against you was never something I wanted to do. Sorry bud.

If you really think about it, what kind of bizarro world would that be where Laker fans would be rooting for and cheering on LeBron James and Kawhi Leonard over Kobe. LOL! Insane. It's like some new world order type craziness!

Would be cool. As if our team didn't have enough wild pieces. We have too many guards and SF. Too many guards and SF's anyway.

How many shot attempts do you expect 40 year old Kobe would be taking?

Wasn't Barkely on TV for months before talking about how he and MJ would come back together if CB could get under 300 lbs?

Let him be a 3 and D guy. Just have him shoot corner 3's.

In other BREAKING NEWS, Magic has decided to also come back.

Shaq was obviously winding the media up, he's always done things like that.

Kobe, more than any other player I've ever seen, truly gave us everything he had. 5 championships and innumerable thrills. The final couple months of the 2012-13 season, he played at an absolutely unbelievable level just to try and make sure the team made the playoffs. It was some of the greatest basketball he ever played, and he did will the team into the postseason.

The night his Achilles went, the sight of him trying to roll it back down into place, and then standing there in utter agony and sinking those big free throws, walking off the floor under his own power, and then seeing him in tears in the locker room after the game, if that didn't fill you with pride for him and tug at your heart, then nothing will.

To say nothing of his final game when he was running on fumes and dropped 60 on a Utah team that probably should have been in the playoffs that year, I don't think the NBA will ever see a greater final act than THAT.

The man gave us everything he had to give. We can't ask for anything more than that.

I think this covers it

https://www.msn.com/en-us/sports/nba/vanessa-bryant-denies-kobe-comeback-rumors/ar-BBLnztq?li=BBnba9I

Vanessa Bryant denies Kobe comeback rumors

Former Los Angeles Lakers star Shaquille O’Neal indicated this past weekend that Kobe Bryant was going to come out of retirement at the age of 39 and join LeBron James with the Lakers.

It's unclear if Shaq had some inside information regarding a potential Kobe comeback. It seemed to come out of left field given that the future Hall of Famer is happy away from the game.

In responding to these far-fetched rumors, Kobe’s wife, Vanessa, has seemingly shot them down big time, as she wrote on Instagram (h/t TMZ Sports).

“Kobe will not be coming out of retirement to play again. He doesn’t want to play again and frankly we really enjoy spending time together as a family without the crazy game schedule interfering with birthdays, holidays and special events.”

Since stepping away from the game following the 2015-16 season, Bryant hasn’t really shown any interest in returning to the hardwood. Despite this, rumors started flying about him teaming up with King James for the first time.

If that were to somehow come to fruition, it seems like Bryant’s better half wouldn’t be too happy. She appears to be settled into the retired life with her family.

Anybody who's listened to Kobe for the last two years knows this isn't happening. And more importantly, he shouldn't come back. He's done.

But there is no denying it would have been a potential good Hollywood ending.

I think he's already had the perfect, quintessentially-Kobe hollywood ending.

Ever since he won his 5th title Kobe has seemed pretty content with himself and the way his career and life have turned out, almost to the point of self-actualization. He has absolutely no good reason to come back.

Instead, Kobe should do more charity work and maybe even get involved in politics.

Two years of him playing like total sh1t wasn't enough for you guys?

Come on... I thank him for the five titles but enough is enough.

Send chills down my spine that people even entertain such stupidity.

Reflexes, speed, hops start to dwindle over time, no betting it, Kobe is no different. His knowledge of the game is valuable but not the on the court.

Father Time?, unbeaten.
