Rondo is just better than Ball. And why wouldn’t he be? Rondo’s been through it all and is just plain better right now. It’ll be easy to see real soon.
There will be absolutely nothing wrong with Ball playing major minutes off the bench in an apprenticeship to Rondo until he’s ready to take the “old man’s” spot ... it’s been done this way since the ancient times. |
Yeah Rondo was the better player last season and will probably beat Ball out for the job. If Ball makes strides this season he could take over at some point but he would have to improve a lot to send Rondo to the bench. |

Rondo, Lance, Beasley with LBJ are very good signings, how many times did the young guys get torched in the 4th quarter by guys like Lillard, or get taken down repeatedly by toronto? Now we have tough defenders and playmakers who are solid in crunch time....they're going to win the tough grind it out games on the road now.....
This should be a very dangerous team come playoff time. |

Sure, except none of those guys are tough defenders |
More tougher then last years team |
This year’s team is very likely going to be worse than last year’s team defensively. |

It should be very healthy for Ball to get some competition from a savvy vet like Rondo. I could see it imploding too, but hopefully Zo shows some grit and rises to the occasion. |

So we replaced non-D guys in Lopez and Thomas and heck even Randle with more established D guys in Lance/Rondo/McGee and we got worse defensively? Okay. |

The guys we got are worse defensively than the guys who left for the most part. Lopez wasn't a "non-D" guy. Our best defenders are the returning young players. |

If you think replacing Thomas with Rondo is a downgrade Defensively, then I’m not gonna take you seriously, Lopez was indeed a non-D guy, almost all the guys he guarded feasted on him, particularly Embiid and Nurkic. |

If you think this team is going to be better than last year's defensively you are going to be disappointed. The guys we signed haven't been good defensively in years. |

I think this team will be as good or better defensively than last year. Our young guys will be improved. We will not have G league players playing significant minutes due to our improved depth. |

Rondo is clutch at the end of game, if only his FT could be better.
Last 2 play
Another Last 2 play
More Clutch
Rondo n Lebron is a must at the end of the game
my other 3 spot would go to BI, Pope, Mcgee (small ball Beasley) |

I could see the pg duties being pretty evenly split, and I think starting will be a matchup based decision. Rondo is planning on going into coaching, so I think that mentor role is vital for him this year. |

You nailed it, some people really take the team defensive stats seriously, we lost last year mostly because we couldn’t get stops and we bought in guys who do that. |

I will admit that I wasn't thinking about the young guys improving and the injuries kinda mucked up our numbers(for the worse) last season. |

Yeah, there was a stretch where Caruso and other G league guys played significant minutes. At least we have NBA level backups now. |

Based on what aspect of basketball? I think you can pretty much say outside of shooting, Lonzo Ball is better than Rondo at every aspect of basketball. |

No argument needed for this.
I already just said besides 2 things that Rondo is probably superior in every other aspect, which is true. |

'Maybe' his attitude? Why maybe? What has Lonzo done to piss off teammates and coaches like Rondo has done countless of times? I'm sure you're just reflecting LaVar's actions and words on Lonzo. |

THis shouldn't be a suprise..
ROndo is basically better than Zo in every aspect besides potentially his 3ball. (and maybe his attitude). |
Based on what aspect of basketball? I think you can pretty much say outside of shooting, Lonzo Ball is better than Rondo at every aspect of basketball. |
No. |
Nice argument. |
No argument needed for this.
I already just said besides 2 things that Rondo is probably superior in every other aspect, which is true. |
You said that the only areas Lonzo is potentially better than Rondo at is 3 point shooting and attitude, which isn't true, but whatever. |

See you cant judge UCLA tape. Lonzo was the most embarassing shooter in the NBA last year and for awhile was scared to even take a layup. No one is talking about potential but if the Lakers had to win a game right now... Rondo is more well rounded. I mean Rondo at times was the best player on a team that featured three hall of famers and has won titles. No shame in Lonzo not being there. _________________ How can I get a copy of a Laker game played on Sunday, March 11, 2001 Sonics/Lakers? If you know PM me please
I would be willing to pay you for it. |
