Brickley is a well-known NBA trainer and one of the best as he has worked with and helped improve the game of the likes of Carmelo Anthony, JR Smith, Chris Paul, Enes Kanter, and several other stars in the league. The 27-year-old has the right trainer for sure.
Nice
Lance is theoretically entering his prime this year at his age. Was not a huge fan of his signing because I thought he was redundant with Hart/KCP/Ingram, but with a worse jump shot.... but seeing this, if he's really fixed his jumper, he could break out and steal a lot of minutes from those guys.
It would be really nice if this group (Hart/KCP/Ingram/Stephenson + Beasley + Kuzma) was good enough to steal minutes from LBJ. It isn't expected.
Well actually I hope LBJ starts playing around 33 mins a game this season (maybe less if we're really on a two year championship contender plan here), so it would definitely be nice if we can trust the second group to carry the load for a little bit more than a quarter.
Rondo vs livingston could be close if we consider playoff rondo as a thing and off the court factors and assume his fit is gonna be better than the pelicans fit
Lance vs iguadola isnt close at all. Like the gap is huge, even if lance imrpoves his jumo shot

I don’t think the gap is nearly as wide as. Iggy is going to be 35 next season and his game has been declining.
Rondo will do more for the Lakers next year then Livingston will provide for the Warriors. Even in a bad year last year Rondo still gave them 8,8 & 4. Livingston has never come close to those numbers.

If he were positive there wouldn’t be a question mark. Nothing wrong with adding some realism to our optimism. Rondo should be a good addition as long as he doesn’t flake out but there is no comparing Stephenson to Iggy/Livingston. It will be a good season if he ends up being a net positive for us. _________________ RIP mom. 11-21-1933 to 6-14-2023.

Yeah, it's only funny now because of their current situations. But if it were Rondo and Stephenson on that 2nd unit in Golden State the last 3-4 seasons winning championships, and we just signed Livingston and Iggy this year, we'd be laughing at the sentiment the other way around. Let's be real here, GS didn't win those championships because of Iggy and Livingston (Iggy's bogus Finals MVP be damned).

I was gonna post the same sentiment, age makes a big difference in basketball and a 27 year old in theory should be more effective then a 35 year old.

I disagree, Livingston, Iggy and potentially Rondo have earned their perceived value through merit. I would be thrilled if we had added Livingston and Iggy. _________________ RIP mom. 11-21-1933 to 6-14-2023.

Did you know AIguodala was 28.2 % from 3 range & 63.2% from FT for a line of 6.0/3.8/3.3 in 25.3 mins in 64 games @ AGE 34 last season?
and...
Did you know LStephenson was 28.9 from 3 range & 66.1% from FT for a line of 9.2/5.2/2.9 in 22.6 mins in 82 games @ AGE 27 last season?

I mean, it'd be hard to really know how we'd really feel in the other timeline where they switched places so I can't really argue for that, but personally am not a huge fan of Livingston myself. I think he's become a good system player and fits GS really well. If he hadn't been on a championship caliber team these last 4 years I don't think I'd be thinking anything if we picked him up.
Iguodala, I can maybe see being good with him even if he wasn't on a championship team before because he'd be that wily type veteran mentor that the kids could learn from that wouldn't really be mad at less playing time. Like if we signed Vince instead of Lance this season (still iffy on the Lance signing but oh well, gotta try to make it work, and his new and improved shooting stroke gives me a bit more hope).
I'm thrilled with the Rondo signing. I think he'll help here a lot, and it also made a playoff competitor in the Pels weaker.

Rondo & Lance > Livinston & Igoudala?
possibly on average....Livingston & Iguodala are a fraction of what they were just 2 seasons ago. Iguodala has shown the ability to turn it up for short bursts (a game or two) which helps in the playoffs.....but neither provide much in the regular season any longer. GSW bench has thinned a lot compared to the pre Durant teams. I would take Josh Hart or Kuzma over anyone they have on their bench.
no it doesnt really look nice.He needs to extend his elbow more and do so more upward and leave it out there and let that follow thru happen. he would make a lot more shots this way.

I certainly didn't.. and i suspect neither did a few here who talk through their a$$. Thanks for sharing. _________________ Starting Lakers Dynasty6.0! NOW!!

....." each year in Lakerland is marked by four seasons: Kobe’s Mad at His Teammates; Kobe’s Shooting Too Much; Kobe Leads the Victory Parade; Kobe Receives His Championship Ring."
Iggy has slipped a lot physically. He isn't an elite wing defender anymore. At this point he mainly impacts the game with his high IQ on both ends, not really by imposing his physicality.
The biggest gap between Iguodala and Stephenson is
Basketball IQ which is what makes Iguodala an important role player for the Warriors. I will take Iguodala over Stephenson 10 out of 10 times.
A lot of people don’t seem to be talking about Lance Stephenson, but his engagement this summer and his dedication has me super hyped, he looks determined.

We need to also talk about his "in my feelings" dancing

I wasn't too happy with his signing but if he can shoot 36% or better from 3 then he'll be a good pick up. He has a million dollar handle and 2 cent shot lol _________________ Coach Vogel, Kidd, Hollins

You are getting kick out of a Laker fan being positive about our players?
Yea, I don't think it's that laughable.
Shaun and Iggy have regressed.
But so has Rondo.
Lance? Who knows. But he's still the only one of them in his 20s.
It can be argued that at the height of their careers that Rondo was the best player out of those 4 and Lance would ne like 3rd. I'm not sure whats funny about that. _________________ Coach Vogel, Kidd, Hollins
