LeBron James and the Lakers open their season on October 18 on the road against the Blazers, per league sources. |
Wow I don’t ever recall the Lakers opening there season on the road, playing @ Portland will be a challenge especially considering our struggles against them in recent years. |
It happened 5 in a row from 1988/89-1992/93 and then only 4x in all that time since. _________________ GOAT MAGIC REEL

our last road opener was @ Denver in 06, so this is pretty rare |

Anyone ever gone to a Lakers-Kings game in Sac? If so, what are the prices like? Can't find sale prices anywhere..
(I live in the Bay Area and obviously can't afford to pay $1k to go to a Warriors-LAkers game) |

Happy that we only play at Denver ONCE, and the Nuggets 3 times overall. I think they match up well against the Lakers.
Also happy that the Thunder also play us 3 times, I'm going to get pretty tired of the PG-non-reunion talk pretty quickly.
Mavs & Grizzlies 3 times, which is a bummer cuz I consider them winnable games, would've wanted one more against them. Would've preferred the Rockets 3 times. Ah well. |

I have: at the old arco arena as well as the new Golden 1 center..
I do go for the dubs/lakers games.. been doing that forever
Man the new sacramento arena is amazing! Tickets are also decent (get em early: or get them from kings fans).. Laker games have a non trivial laker presence : mostly from bay area.. you can see all the laker fans heading there to sacramento on the capitol corridor the day of.. _________________ Starting Lakers Dynasty6.0! Pretty crazy that we have more national games then the Warriors considering there the champs. |

That is surprising. At the same time I really don't have much interest in watching a Warriors game when they aren't facing a contender. They are so overpowered that I assume they will blow out everyone that isn't a contender. |

Rondo pretty much owns Portland after last postseason. And they have nobody who can slow down LBJ.
If the young guys just play moderately well, I expect a W. _________________ "Every hurt is a lesson, and every lesson makes you better” |

First 3 weeks:
@POR
HOU
SAS
@PHX
DEN
@SAS
@MIN
DAL
@POR
TOR
MIN
Get ready for the national media to write us off quickly, because that looks like a tough stretch to me for a team that just had >50% turnover. It does ease up later in November and December, though.
On the flip side, I saw a lot of beatable teams after the All-Star break so maybe it will work out for us better this way? |

Every game was winnable last year with a puppy squad. We now have Lebron James, more experienced young core and more vets. Every game is more winnable than ever. _________________ Darvin Scam: https://media.tenor.com/images/3c15249955860a4b16b59e8ae035fb75/tenor.gif |

Quote: | For the second straight season, the Lakers play 13 back to backs. A few teams play only 12, while some play 16. Average is 13.9, down from 14.4 last season. Of those 13 B2B’s, 2 include no travel at all (one home/home, the other home/Clippers). |

Not surprised at the number of national TV games we have, without LeBron we had a bunch last season and now with Bron we're must see TV. |

I agree, we will finally end the losing drought against the Blazers. |
