I’m super excited for Beasley this year, what a steal for us. Think there’s strong likelihood he’ll find home here and stick around long-term.

I think he's going to surprise a lot of people in a good way. Agree that I can see him sticking long term too as a bench gunner, though we also have Kuz for that. Good problem to have.

I don't think he will play much. I will be surprised if he averages more than 15 minutes a game. If he does play a lot it will probably be because other guys are injured or under performing.

I know you are located on the EC now, did you watch many Knicks games last season? If so your endorsement is good news!

Surprisingly good scorer last year on a bad team. But he can really get buckets quickly. If he doesn’t have it on a given night he can sit. But he can light up for 20 points in a hurry.

Nah.

But I'll say this. On an individual defense level, can be decent. But team-scheme wise, gets lost in the shuffle. Too low attention span for that.

I might be overvaluing Beasley but had he went to OKC, they would have had a pretty good shot at making the finals, Im pretty sure Thunder fans are bummed out he didn’t go there, even though they improved there depth with Noel and Schoder, he could have made life easier for George by giving him extra rest.

IMO if he plays like did last season or better the minutes will be there.

Bealsey would have been a good scorer off the bench for them, but I can't imagine he'd have such a big impact as to get them to the finals.

Luke is gonna have a hard job this year with the minutes. I would hate to see Beaze ride a ton of pine. Dude is solid enough of a player to get 20 minutes a game.

Luke can be really creative with his lineups this year... So much interchangeable depth!

Yes he would, unlike Melo he is efficient on ISO offense, George would have benefited greatly by making him focus more on D.

I'd say you're overestimating both how good the Thunder are and how good Beasley is. I don't see him propelling a team that lost in the first round last year to the finals. Heck, Beasley himself has never gotten past the first round in his career. He's an OK player, but not a difference maker.

He might not have pushed them to the finals.. but he easily could have help them make a jump in level of play, it seems like even other fans know what a good talent Beasley is.. also Beasley was with Miami when they went to the finals in 2014, so yeah he has indeed been apart of winning basketball even though he averaged a unimpressive 7.9PPG, He is much more mature now and LeBron is gonna love playing with him.

Oh, that's right. The Heat signed Beasley in September, but he wasn't much of a factor on the team. They didn't bother to activate him for most of the playoffs, and he played one game in the finals, getting some garbage minutes during a 17-point blowout loss. So I guess he's been part of winning basketball in the same sense that Adam Morrison or other deep bench guys on finals team were, though the Heat didn't actually win

Anyway, we'll see if he ends up being a factor this year soon enough.

He would have helped okc who had no bench big time. Just imagine him and and their new PG off the bench vs their bench last season. I hope be gets 20 mpg here.

He'll definitely benefit from having high IQ guys like LeBron and Rondo then, especially since they're extra vocal. They'll make sure he's in the right spots.

I hope the young guys play so well they leave all the rent-a-vets competing for the scrapes. Anyway, I hope the Lakers do well this season, but I am indifferent to Beasley specifically. It's great if he's a contributor; equally great if someone else comes through and he's nailed to the bench.
