The youngsters have to run run run and hit their 3s.
In a 7 game series, can the youngsters hit 38% on 3s for 4 of those games? |

Now that Ball is not playing 5 on 5...the young group doesn't have a good PG (no Caruso is not a good PG).
Bron
Beasley
McGee
Rondo
KCP
Stephenson
vs
Kuz
Ingram
Zu
Caruso
Hart
Svi
Wagner
I see the vets winning these battles. It would be a lot closer with Ball. |

Let Ingram run the point and use Caruso as a spot up and the 24 and under unit should light the vets up. Replace Caruso with Svi when he returns and they’ll turn it up considerably. |

Ingram - Hart - Svi - Kuzma - Zu/Wagner
They could steal a game. |

Lonzo's form looks pretty similar to last year. Can someone tell me how it has changed.

Rob spoked at length about why the team is constructed the way it is.Luke talked about the effect that Rajon Rondo already has on the team.”
Who on earth wrote this? The entire paragraph is awful. Did a third grader write it? |
It's hard on the web because sometimes people are simply trying to fit some quotes into a limited space and they don't want to have to rebuild the graphics and make some last second design decisions. I've seen that happen fairly often, to be honest. |
I'm not sure if I'm understanding you. I wasn't referring to the length of the paragraph. What I'm shocked and confused about is how poor the grammar is. ESPN is a major network. How did the person who wrote that even get the job? It's just weird. I mean, Rob ”spoked” at length about the team? What? lol. Weird. |
Twenty years ago I'd probably have agreed with you, but in the time since there's been some changes in this country which explain to me what we're seeing:
- in the schooling of young people in the English language, towards seeing less standardized coverage of writing, and using more private and more specialized schools offering coursework taught by less credentialed teachers, and including more home schooling than any time since the 1920s here in the US. Yes, a run-on sentence.
- in the increase seen proportionately among the mix of English speakers and writers who are using English as a second or third language language.
- in the reproaches of folks who would point out what you've pointed out this decade, as inappropriate and unnecessary singling out of folks using less than ideal grammar. I've seen this in the workplace rather often.
- in the generation of people who have grown up knowing text messaging as their primary written method of communication.
Thangs ain't what they used to be, in good and bad ways. |
