Kuzma has played in less pressure situations than any of the 3 other core young guys. The other 3 played in big games for big programs in college and Zo and BI came in with WAY more pressure from expectations. Maybe Kuz is built for it, maybe the other guys aren’t but that would be contrary to the facts currently available to us.

In simpler terms, you have nothing to back your claim.

It's the very definition of a conundrum, predicting the biggest "surprise"; if the season's end reveals that you predicted correctly, was it really a surprise ?

Yeah, BI played for Duke, probably the highest and most difficult program to play for cause of the high expectations, there like the Lakers and Patriots there fans expect to play for the National championship every year, and UCLA is basically another program that offers pressure.. no idea why the poster is trying to down play the excitement with the season coming up.. this is the most excited I have felt in years.. let’s all enjoy it.

Yeah this is my line of thinking...

Kuz is going to show he's the #2 to LeBon, not BI.

lmfao I highly doubt that, the Lakers fo/coaching staff is expecting an all-star leap from Ingram meanwhile they didn't even give Kuzma a single start over Ingram last season.

Ingram would be my 2nd choice but I think Kuzma will be the secondary scorer that LeBron likes to have. I think LeBron will take away from a lot of the good things that Ingram does...interested to see how he'll adapt.

No I saw that. Just wanted to point out it’s nothing more than a gut feeling which goes against the current facts available to us.

i see Hart turning heads and is a starter by year ends. i see Lonzo shot being better but i dont see a huge leap in his game. i really see Hart shocking us and becomes a starter and avg 14 pts around there

Just how well would Kuz / BI / Ball need to play to surprise us? It's a much lower bar for Hart / Zubi.

I would have to go with one of the rooks. Probably Svi - who will have to earn every second he's on the court making it more surprising if it happens.

lmfao is a great way to start a post..

Cheers mate

Lance should be on this list. Strange to leave him off since he's the one signing that people have questioned the most. He's actually the one I would've voted for on this.

The list was created from memory, so as I mentioned earlier, I forgot and left him off. I have a hunch that he'll prove to be a different player and a good shooter for the team. I'm not convinced that some mid season trade won't try to land a specific player talent who can benefit the team, but only Malinka knows.

I suspect that a mid season trade of a couple guys might try to land a specific player talent who can benefit the team, and clear up playing time issues from the logjam of talent. We'll see what Malinka does.
