Slow day at the Ponderosa. When vacuuming do you push the machine to keep the cord behind and walk on the vacuumed carpet or pull it to avoid walking on freshly vacuumed carpet and constantly whip the cord out of the way while backing up? I have a shark with the swiveling head. I push and keep the cord behind me. Man, I love my Shark!

Vacuuming is something that happens to other people.

+1 Love my Dyson but hope to go personless on my next one.

Now someone needs to invent a Bath-Roomba that will clean my shower and sink for me.

I have a Hurricane Spin Scrubber with tub and sink attachments. Keeps me from bending over or getting on my knees to clean my bathtub. Works well in the sink also.

Does it hurt when the brush hits the Pubic or Anus?

You know I actually have one of those or a knockoff. I bought it because I got sick of scrubbing dirt out of the crevices of my kitchen floor. It didn't work well so I just threw it in the back of the closet. I'll give it a try. Thanks for the tip.

Thought about going cordless. Does it have the sucking power of a electric vacuum? How often do you have to recharge? It's my understanding the charge is good from 20 to 40 minutes. If you go to max it lasts about 6 minutes.

It has it's pros and cons and charging is one of them. I have an older model (DC59 I think) and it's still running well after five years. If I go max, which I always do, it will run for about 15 minutes. The newer model has three speeds I believe. My previous vacuum was a Shark. I think it might have been the Navigator. I'd say the Dyson suction is comparable to that one.

The thing you're really paying for is convenience. The Dyson is easier to maintain and a lot easier to pull out and get the job done quickly and then store. The storage part is really what made me switch. Got tired of coiling up those power cords and hoses. I vacuum a lot more often with my Dyson.

The maid doesn't use a vacuum either broom and mop. Tile floors.
