I think Beasley is going to have a number of 10+ ppg games off the bench this season. He is going to be one of the guys that keep Lebron rested on the bench, as Beasley provides bench scoring and lets the starters take a breather in the second and fourth quarters.

It's funny. I wanted Beasley as a Kuzma replacement if we were to include Kuzma in a Kawhi deal.

Not a very good game from Beasley but I trust he fact that he’s been in this league long enough not to worry about his performance he will be more engaged during the regular season.

What an enigma, just by his mannerisms and general demeanor you can tell he walks to a different beat. Gonna be a fun season watching Beasley's ups and downs.

Michael Beasley's preseason opener ends early due to injury

Quote:
Michael Beasley's debut with the Los Angeles Lakers lasted six minutes after he was forced out of Sunday's preseason opener with a head laceration.

Beasley came off the bench to score four points, including a 3-pointer, before leaving against the Denver Nuggets for good with 9 minutes, 2 seconds remaining in the second quarter.

The team said Beasley had no initial concussion-like symptoms but would be re-evaluated Monday.

Beasley can have an important role this season.
To fill the roll as second string center.
The good centers will not be playing when he does.

And if he can rebound and shoot and play decent defense.

Lance at PG is a waste of minutes. He is a good ball handler but does not have the PG mentality.

Both Beas and Lance confuse me as signings. I have more hope that Beasly can shine through, and his experience. playing with Bron will help him. He had a good rear numbers wise last year and he seemed like he had his head on straight, but will curious to see whether that'll last all this season as well.

This dude is dumb as hell. One of the lowest IQs on and off the court. I have a feeling 4/5 games of his will be super frustrating and then 1/5 games he will go off for 20+ points looking like a true #2 pick

Basically, his entire career to date. No doubt.

Funny how Beasley was appreciated last season when he was with the circus and crazy Knicks team, but you guys can’t do the same, and let’s not even start with the Stephenson hate, I think he’s similar to how the Clippers got Patrick Beverly, not as good of a defender.. but both of there effort is contagious.

You didn't hear? Apparently, judging by some posters on this forum you have to be nuclear physicists to don the Laker Jersey.

I watched almost all of the Knicks game last year. Beasley was a positive factor most of the time he played. With Porzingis missing a lot of games Beasley stepped up and scored a bunch of points. His attitude was OK and his defense was OK.

So assuming that the Lakers develop a stable rotation with a repeatable offensive scheme, Beasley, for what we are paying him, can help out.

I definitely prefer Beasley in that role than the other ones toons.

IG with all due respect he played 6 minutes. Hit a 3 and blocked a shot. Tough critic.

I don’t think he was comfortable being out there in his 1st game as a Laker, again that is also a good thing because it means Beasley can be a difference maker especially considering his limited contributions.

To me he's somewhat reminiscent of Pope last season. You take the good with the bad. If he can help us pull out some Ws like KCP did then I'll take it. Also, barring injuries Beasley won't be playing too many minutes.

It’s always cool to see players coming into the league with lack of maturity especially off the court and then changing as they get older...

Radmanovich was solid when he was here, contributed during the 2008 finals.
