Don't get hung up on Lance's "warts;" his pre-season stats are pretty solid (NBA.com):
MPG: 21.5
FG%: 58.3%
3P%: 50%
FT%: 83.3
PPG: 10.0
RPG: 2.0
APG: 3.0

Yeah Im glad these people dont run our team. Lets just throw Svi in who looks lost as FRICK out there over Lance who has actually played decent for us and will only get better when roles are set in.
4.5 mill for a guy who can hype up the team, make shots, make offence, get under peoples skins? THIS is who we are complaining about? Id like Tyler Fricken Ennis back just so people know what real trash is again. |
Yeah I don’t understand how fans can hate on a player who cheers for his teammates and brings swagger to the team, that is one of the reasons why LeBron vouched for his signing, he can bring a lot of confidence to the team with his personality which constants of not backing down. |

Not about just the stats. A LOT of ball stopping. Isn't that why we traded JC? _________________ From 2-10 to the Western Conference Finals |

50% from 3 is a surprising stat, granted it’s probably in low volume 3pt attempts... but you can see his presence. |

Nah, we traded JC to get a 1st round pick and max cap space. Luke obviously didn't mind his ball-stopping given the minutes he was getting |

I don't mind his ball stopping, as it excites the crowd and he does get his team a good shot for himself or others. If he can reign that in just a tad, that'd be great as well. But I love the swagger, that's what this team needed as well. |

But when Lonzo comes back, it's going to be a major minutes crunch. _________________ From 2-10 to the Western Conference Finals |

And what's been the +/- for Lance or the Lakers when he's been on the floor? I don't hate him per se, but you can't expect to win in the NBA, as entertaining as it might be, just taking or creating 2-point shots. |

Appreciate on LG? Doubtful.. now fans are getting on Nunez. I honestly believe there is more negativity now in a exciting Laker environment then last year when we didn’t know what our potential was as a team. |

Ball stopping isn’t always a bad thing. Some players like to ISO and I’m sure luke and his staff have prepared for that. They brought lance in to play his game. We didn’t bring in a bunch of players who are unknowns, there is plenty of film on the vets we brought in, so we know what they bring to the table.
Rondo is a passer
Javale is a roll man
Stephenson likes to iso, shake n bake and score
Beasley like to score from the post
Should we expect them to play within the offense? Yes, but we should also take personel into consideration when creating the playbook so that everyone is in an optimal position to do their best.
These guys (except javale) are coming off the bench. It’s ok to have the bench play a little differently than the starters. You want them to leave an imprint on the game when they step in. I think as long as they are out there with a rondo or lebron everything will be fine. |

That is my one harp with Lance. Wish he was a better shooter.
Although I admit I can say that about a few players on the team. |

No doubt that Lance is a ball-stopper; but as long as a legit facilitator (Zo, Rondo, LBJ) is on the floor with him I think he can and will be an asset.
When Zo gets back Lance's minutes will be shortened and his ball-handling days will be even shorter.
However Lance brings a few intangibles that this team needs such as confidence, experience, swagger and energy. |

He does, but again, that's just Lance's basketball DNA. NYC style dribble happy player. When Lonzo/Rondo, and Hart/KCP are fully operational, Lance's minutes will come at the SF (probably 12-14mpg) or via injury. _________________ From 2-10 to the Western Conference Finals |

his razzle dazzle style is fun to watch, but when Ball comes back, he’ll run the 2nd unit more often.
But Lance is a gonna be great for us. He reminds me of Metta with his NY rough, edgy style of play. 👍🏼👍🏼 |
