Once again the defense wakes up in the 4th quarter.

Gonna be another hostile environment next Sunday @ Mile High.

Yep. Just like last week. They came through when we needed them.

Suh was great today. That holding penalty he drew late in the 4th was huge as it moved the Seahawks back to 2nd and 23 and out of FG range. That little adjustment to move him back inside to nose tackle to stop the run late in the game paid off.

Nice game by Robert Woods as well. He made some huge plays.

Goff really impressed me today. He loses his 2/3 of his targets and still manages to move the football up the field in a hostile stadium.

I didn't see the play where Kupp got hurt. Was it as bad as Cooks'?

I don't remember him being in the lineup today. He was concussed and he has a sore knee. I like him as a receiver. He reminds me a lot of Jerry Rice. He doesn't wait for the ball to come to him, he goes and gets it.

Couple things from todays game

-Marcus Peters got cooked all day
-Robert Woods is Mr. Reliable
-I understand Sean McVay is a great coach but we blew a lot of timeouts early in the game, in a close game. I feel like this will bite us in the ass in the playoffs when we're behind and need to stop the clock
-I'll take the W but the Rams definitely have a lot of exploitable weaknesses

Gurley was super-close to the first down on that 2nd down play, and that spot was so bad that it just makes you wonder. At worst, he was down maybe a foot shy of the sticks. They marked him a full yard and a half short! That was the worst spot I have ever seen. I was screaming at the TV in the sports bar. I was so happy they went for it, because they probably would have lost the game had they punted right there. It was a gutsy, and correct, call to go for it with the sneak.

I am hoping that they hold Cooks out, at the very least. He had a nasty concussion in the Super Bowl, so this is his second documented concussion in the past 9 months. Even if he feels good and passes the protocol, you're 5-0, and I think they should just give him a week off. Err on the extreme side of caution, as the Lakers do with injuries.

I know this is football and that guys want to play if they are able, but this is a case where I think the organization should be thinking of the long game. Cooks is very important to this offense.

Rams #1 again this week. This week they are favored by 7 at Denver. Vegas currently has them the favorite to win the super bowl.

Rest-of-season SOS ranking: 16th. The Rams' toughest remaining game is Week 9 at the Saints, where they have a 57 percent chance to win, according to FPI. The Rams are the only team in the NFL favored to win all of their remaining games. -- Doug Clawson

Sunday forecast 29 degrees and snow showers. The weather and the altitude should be a challenge.

Still smh how the refs call a holding penalty on that play where Cooks got hurt but not the helmet to helmet hit.

I agree and hope the Rams do what's best for those guys even if it means saving them from themselves. It would be great to be 6-0 but the goal is to win a Superbowl.

Both Cooks and Kupp expected to play on Sunday.

Quote:
WRs Cooper Kupp and Brandin Cooks were full participants in the Rams final practice of the week in preparation for Sunday’s game against the Broncos.

McVay said that he anticipates both players being cleared on Saturday — the final step of the league’s concussion protocol.

Just looked at the weather prediction in Denver tomorrow, 31 degrees and snowing. How will the warm weather Rams handle inclement weather?

We have so much action in the pre-snap, it's like the pistol wing-T out there the way we keep teams guessing after the snap. This game will come down to the hogs if Rams are run/flip pass heavy. The wind looks like it will only be between 5-8 mph. Saturdays wind predictions were low by 10 mph though, so we will have to wait and see.

It will be interesting. Goff doesn't have a lot (if any) experience playing in snow but I don't think Case Keenum has much experience either. As a Viking, he played one road game at Ford in November and one game at Lambeau in late December last season but there was no snow on either day.

Woods played in Buffalo and Cooks played in New England prior to becoming Rams so they've got experience. Most of the other guys on the team either played college ball or for other pro teams in cold weather as well.

It will be good prep for those back to back road games in Detroit and Chicago in December. Those might be important conference games.

The snow should stop by 2:30, they should just be conservative in the first half.
