I like KCP, but I do think Hart is the better player. Which is surprising. His ability to drive, absorb contact and finish, and to defend larger players on switches gives him the edge. It's not a bad problem to have though.

Good to see Josh “Jason” Hart finally getting some recognition.

Josh Hart is like a rich man's Derek Fisher.

Right now, Hart is looking better than Kuzma. Both need to step up defensively though.

They dont play anything like each other at all.

People really need to quit this comparison. Its lazy and inaccurate.

As things stand this is our most dynamic line up on the offensive side im sure. Unless Lonzo comes back with a three pointer or driving capabilities, his playmaking I think wont really be needed.

The most dynamic offensive lineup has a center that can only convert lobs and can't hit free throws?

That line up just won our first game

You guys see this?

Josh Hart is so strong that David West literally decided he’d rather retire than post Hart up again

Agreed. I don't understand this comparison at all. One is 6'5, the other is 6'1. One has an all around game, the other was basically a spot up 3pt shooter. Josh Hart is relentless in attacking, and you feel good confident when he does. When Derek Fisher did it, it felt like Carlton was trying too hard while the Fresh Prince (Kobe) was asking for the ball.

Yeah. Hart can finish at the rim, Derek couldn’t. Hart can get to the rim, Detek couldn’t. Hart can play man defense, Derek couldn’t. Hart rebounds, Derek didnt.

I will admit to having a hard time finding a comp for Josh Hart.

I sooooo enjoyed that piece! He's a prototypical 2 guard. Six-five, strong as an ox, nice stroke, including the fact that he lead the team last year, and he's committed to getting better.

Collectively, the team has to get better on defense. Hopefully starting tonight.

GT was saying on Locked On that Josh Hart’s perimeter D has been terrible, but his defensive issues are very fixable. That’s a shame though because Hart is a beast down low. Hope he can figure it out because he’s crucial for us out there, especially along side Lebron.

When ESPN personalities were comping the draft, those were lazy comps. Like when they said Randle is ZBO, Ingram is Durant, Ball is Jason Kidd. Even though Hart isn’t like DFish, you can still squint a little and see where people are coming from with that. Both are tough, blue collar guards who are about winning over everything else.

His defensive issues were exacerbated against the Kings with Rondo and Lonzo out - Josh can't cover PGs and may never be able to.

Big fan of Hart. He reminds me a lot of Joe Dumars. Hart is bigger and stronger but not as offensively talented. Neither were super athletes but both have high iq

I like Josh but he can't even cover Tobias Harris on the perimeter.

He tweaked his hamstring in practice, Nunez and the medical staff will hopefully have him ready for training camp 2019.

Will he be ready for 2019 preseason?

He'll play 5 on 5 but won't be ready for preseason. He'll be questionable for every game but ultimately won't play any of the preseason games. Nunez and Luke run a tight ship.

I really like the fact that he’s stepped his game up since struggling early in the preseason, I don’t understand why we can’t admit that’s he a good 3-D player.

because laker fans like to take sides. and now they are as usual siding with the new guy. Fortnite hart. now i will say as of this very min. yes fortnite hart is the better player. but kcp is a legit 3 and D guy.

here's going to be the dilemna, which one of them is going to shine off the bench? because what happens is this. If hart can play well as a starter and as a bench player but kcp can only thrive when in with the starters. KCP will be the starter and josh will be the Ginobili, Lamar Odom of the team off the bench. and i bet you he will be mad about it. But Hart will finish all games and kcp wont, which will upset kcp and may make him go elsewhere the following season. But if no one gets their egos hurt and just want to win. having these two caliber players on the same team can be great. KCP can start in the nba so him off the bench is pretty much better than any SG coming off the pine since he not only can score, is athletic, can shoot, but he also plays defense. usually off the pine sg's that are good are scorers and nothing else.

and just in case either of them get hurt. you wont miss them nearly as much when the other one is taking their mins. thats a really nice problem to have.

that makes for a really deap SG spot. especially since we dont have a superstar at the spot. those two together = Paul George. but now with some depth and you dont have to burn your starters out.
