He’s already been declared out for the entire preseason so it’s extraordinarily doubtful that he would play on Wednesday.

Apparently, he's out the whole preseason. Not sure how long after that. If he's ready for the regular season, I hope we squeak one game in for Moe.

L. Ball PG Sat, Oct 6 Knee Questionable for start of season
L. James SF Sat, Oct 6 Rest Questionable for start of season
M. Beasley PF Fri, Oct 5 Ribs Questionable for start of season
M. Wagner C Sat, Sep 29 Knee Questionable for start of season

Looks like the knee Beasley took last night was more damaging than I thought. I hope the organization is just being careful with Lonzo. If it takes more time for him to be 100% it may be worth the wait. C'mon MO we need ya.

Lonzo is still listed as questionable for tonight's game.

Mo Wagner is out with the knee confusion and will be reevaluated at the end of preseason.

Last report is Beasley isn't going to miss any playing time. Xrays negative.

Rondo was out for rest, not injury, so I'd expect he'll be back tonight, although Rotowire still lists him as "out."

Knee confusion

Talk about a Freudian slip lol

818fan jokingly suggested the term earlier in this thread, I think it sums up the information shared about Mo's injury perfectly. (Sorry TDRock!)

Good news. I assume Trudell meant 'entire squad excluding Wagner.'

Gonna be great to see the whole squad for the first time on Wednesday with the exception of Wagner.

Yeah I posted this earlier in the thread. Hope it happens, it’s time to see Zo on the court.

I want to see a healthy squad so I can make some kind of prediction on what the season will be. I don't think Lonzo will be as great a loss as some think. Rondo's ballin. We need him in the lineup because he brings energy. I hope he worked on his shot in the off season. I worry if Zo is physically able to play in a rugged NBA. Seems like he's been off the court more than on. Only played 52 games last year.

Moe Wagner - Knee - Questionable for start of season
Lonzo Ball - Knee - Probable for start of season

their info can be late/outdated compared to other sources so I'll update with info from the Twitters tomorrow.

Go Lakers!

Man is Wagner made out of glass or is his injury worse than was originally reported? It's been like over 3 months and he is still out! I hope he's not one of those player that plays 40 games per season.

a 'contusion' is a very broad term

the injury was most likely a bone bruise, which I believe is a type of microfracture. typically takes a couple months to heal

Josh Hart was pulled out of practice today after tweaking his hamstring. The Lakers will have an update tomorrow on Hart's condition.

Dammit Josh

Per Lakers

Lonzo Ball could potentially make his preseason debut on Wednesday, while Josh Hart left practice early after tweaking his hamstring.

Dammit Josh Update

Per Tania G

Josh Hart wanted to practice today but his hamstring was tight and the Lakers played it safe. Hart will be questionable, Luke says.

As long as Hart is 100% by the first game of the season we're fine.

I also expect Lonzo to be a little rusty considering this is his first preseason game. Off the bench makes sense.

Yeah basically that’s what’s being said it sounds like it’s primarily a rest move.

Per Trudell

Walton said of Josh Hart’s hamstring: “He’s good. He wanted to practice today but it was tight still.” Walton held him out because “He’s very important to what we do.” They want to make sure he’s ready for the regular season. Hart is officially questionable for Wednesday’s game.

Josh Hart Update

Per Ohm

Josh Hart (hamstring) is a game-time decision. He went through shootaround and team will see how he feels before the game. es.pn/2REs77W

The Daily Lonzo

Per Ohm

Luke Walton won't say how many minutes Lonzo Ball will play off bench tonight but the coach will have Ball on floor at times with starters. es.pn/2PskiRt

Injuries from the Other Side

I meant to post this earlier when I saw it and I forgot. Per Tania G

Draymond Green won’t play tonight against the Lakers and Shaun Livingston is questionable. Otherwise all the Warriors will get some time.

PRE-SEASON GAME #5 - GOLDEN STATE WARRIORS VS LOS ANGELES LAKERS, T-MOBILE ARENA LAS VEGAS - 7:30PM

Per Trudell

Luke Walton said Josh Hart will play limited minutes tonight. As such, every rotation player is available since Lonzo will make his preseason debut.

Hamstring issues can linger a long time if you aren't careful. Better to play it safe. If it's still tight then Hart should sit this one out. We have depth at that position anyway.
