Read he passed away.

96 years old.

Thanks Tex, he did a ton for the game and Lakers too.

Awwww man. 96 is a long life, we should all be so lucky. Still doesn't change how I feel reading this. Sorry to see him go.

Yes, and he hasn’t been healthy for several years. Huge impact on the sport.

Saw Tex back at the SPL in Long Beach, he generously took time to autograph items for everyone who went up to him. Noticed he'll put a small triangle next to his name. Sure missed his presence on the sidelines in the last few years with Kobe/Pau/Phil.
