RIP coach. I remember hearing that even before PJ came to La, Kobe reached out to coach to learn about the triangle.

The real life Yoda. RIP

RIP legend of the triple post offense.

Both of our coaches in tonight's game were heavily influenced by him.

I always liked reading ancedotes about Tex in Phils books or really anywhere that mentioned him. Sad to see all that knowledge go but had a hell of a run.

RIP Tex

The Triangle was pure genius and I spent years studying it and even wrote a long analysis of the system. Even though the game has moved on, his legacy is invaluable.

RIP to a HOF'er

Pete, you should do a video showing a few examples of how the triangle principles helped us win titles.

Tex Winter impacted the game way beyond helping Jordan and Kobe win all those championships. You can see the impact of the triangle offense in the way that other teams play now.

RIP coach.
