Awful play? Are you guys even watching the games? He was very solid yesterday.

Definitely his best game. He's even made shots this pre-season. But point remains, he's a ball-stopper and takes bad shots.

the ones who think Lance has been awful are the same ones that were upset that the Lance signing was going to take mins from the "great Svi" based off summer league.

He played good on both ends tonight. I was actually impressed with his D this game. It hadn't looked great in some other games this preseason. He's going to be a hit or miss player. One good game, one bone headed game. Hopefully Luke is able to recognize early on when he's having an off night and reduces his minutes.

It will be interesting to see how the rotation shakes out.

Rondo and Ball should take all the PG minutes, and maybe even play together at times.

That leaves 96 minutes at the 2 and 3 spots to divide between Ingram, KCP, Hart and Stephenson (and perhaps Kuz). I figure Ingram is going to get at least a third of that time, so they'll be a lot of competition for minutes

I couldnt have put it better myself. The same people are adamant that Svi should be taking Lance's minutes

BTW Lance has been good for us. It's quite obvious he makes a great impact for us.

No question...brings energy, playmaking and hustle. I too couldn't understand all this Svi love based on summer league. Right now...Lance is valuable to us and Svi brings nothing.

Pacer fans already missing the Impact Lance bought to the team, they looked disjointed yesterday against Chicago, he’s gonna be very valuable to the Lakers team.

low IQ. Ball stopper. looks lost on defensive rotations and takes bad shots. I put him out there if the team looks dead but I would limit his mins to 10 a game.

Low IQ players don’t make a nice pass especially when it results to the player making a 3pter.

he shouldn't be taking PG mins away from Rondo or Lonzo. Or SG mins from Hart. Or SF mins from BI or Kuz

He can be playing anywhere from 10-30M a night depending on how the team is doing and rather the team needs his energy, it’s obvious that Indiana has felt the Impact of him leaving.

Sort of like this year's Corey Brewer. Not in terms of game, but in terms of this guy that you don't really know what to think of, but he's taking minutes away from the youngsters. I'm cool as long as he doesn't effect Josh Hart, or come in for any of the back-court players.

Stephenson doesn't seem as crazy as he used to be. Like a
Metta WP who mellowed out and was an asset.

Lance has a lot of smarts and wants to win. He should be an asset if he takes what is given and doesn't try to do too much.

Ron is more crazier then Lance but Laker fans warmed up to him once he became a Laker.

How about if he helps us win games?

Not only does Lance fail the eyeball test when you watch him play, especially when he's not in purple and gold, which definitely has clouded people's judgement, but the proof is also in the pudding. For 8 straight yrs, he has switched jerseys. Obviously teams feel they can do without his "help."

If Luke and Lebron can figure out to use him effectively, then great.

Switching jerseys in consecutive years does not mean that player is a useless journeyman, it’s obvious that he has a different mentality so far as a Laker, Pacer fans miss his presence on the team why are we trying to act like we know better when they have had him for multiple years?

That was my point. If he helps us win games are you okay with him playing 20 minutes. It seems like you are. IMO, if he takes minutes from Hart, KCP etc. and the team is winning I'm good
