Oh yeah. Who cares if it’s against third stringers.
He looked awful against fourth stringers just this summer.
Great growth for the youngest player in the league! _________________ Austin Reaves

Dribble pass shoot, even our farm system has that now except for williams and bonga- I think they will really work on bonga's shot. _________________ Creatures crawl in search of blood, To terrorize y'alls neighborhood. |

Can’t wait to see how he does in the G League. I already like him more than Caruso. |
Bonga tonight: 12pts, 9 rebounds, 5 assists and a steal, 4 TO's. Plus 15 with some real solid defense.
WOW I didn't expect that. |

Nice post-game interview SVI
I enjoyed this game more than the last. Our newbies needed this time to shine (and I personally did not miss Lance or Beas) |

I'm calling it- They're gonna cut Zu so they can keep williams and Wear, sending williams and bonga to the D league and having Kuz back up Javale... If one of them goes down then williams gets the call up for a spell. Also, where was caruso aka the vatican taxman?!? _________________ Creatures crawl in search of blood, To terrorize y'alls neighborhood. |

This. Considering how indifferent he looked during the summer league. Guy is loooong. _________________ Let's Go Lakers!!! |

SVI - for some reason I thought his shot was off, but then I look at his box score...
22pts on 18 shots, 2 for 5 from 3, not bad at all. |

Once he gets comfortable and raise his confidence, he will be a shooting force for us. _________________ Let's Go Lakers!!! |

And he is crazy young still. Imagine this kid once his has grown into his full frame and has more time developing his shot. Our scouting team has just been killing it! |

Svi outplayed Klay, especially during the 2nd quarter.
Klay kept iso-ing long bricks and couldn’t even guard Svi on the other end. _________________

Assuming his age isn’t a lie, he’s freaking 18 years old. Kid can put up a fight for that 3rd string behind Caruso right now.
I hope the best for him. If he really pans out like the scouts here hope he does, him being a long term role playing PG would be huge for us. _________________ Darvin Scam: https://media.tenor.com/images/3c15249955860a4b16b59e8ae035fb75/tenor.gif |

Imagine how lucky these guys are to have Lebron cheering them on and giving them every tip and pointer he knows
His personality seems like one who would be a constant teacher or imparter of wisdom

Chemistry does look improved. These guys see each other almost every day, obviously getting to know each other. They look more relaxed then the first preseason game. |

That was the most entertaining half of a preseason game I have seen in recent memory plus it doesn't hurt to beat those bay area idiots.

Bonga - this is the first time he has shown NBA talent. The 2nd half felt like an exhibition/all-star game so I'm going to temper my enthusiasm. He can dribble a basketball now and that's a good sign. Definitely showed progress.
Svi - confidence is everything. When he plays loose we know he can have nights like this.
Kuzma - Saw a flash of rookie Kuz in that 3rd quarter, but he hasn't looked like himself at all in preseason. I thought last season one of his greatest strengths was his coordination with the ball (i.e. footwork and ambidexterity). He seems physically off to me. Doesn't seem as fluid. |

I think Zu's issues are mostly mental. When he's out on the floor with the bench guys that he is familiar with, especially his G league teammates, he is much more composed and is just clearly playing with more confidence, not shying away from contact, etc. He seems to be intimidated when he's out there with/against starters and star players. Same guy that has good touch around the rim and gets plenty of gimme dunks using his length is suddenly unable to pivot without a turnover or getting some foolish foul.
It's a shame. I believe the kid has the tools to be effective. Not looking like it's going to happen, though. |
