If so, doing a really horrible job of it. How does that explain all the strikeouts throughout the series and the terrible hitting with RISP? Sounds like sour grapes to me.

Between all of the challenges, and the smoke and mirror display with Miley, this seems to be a last ditch effort by a desperate team that is on the ropes.

Is this something that is being brought up by the national or Milwakee media?

I am worried about keeping up with their firepower, but had the same worry with Houston last year and we were one Yu Darvish choke job away from winning.

Yeah that was what I was thinking. With the way we were hitting in this series (except game 5), we are not doing a good job of stealing signs if we were. They do complain and whine a lot.

Good. Brewers need to cry harder. Less focus for them to be putting on the upcoming games.

The brewers must be taking their ideas for championship aspirations from the 2000s Sacramento kings. So much whining from them. And they really shouldn't talk about dirty and cheating when they have a steroid-abusing lying piece of $h!t on their team in Ryan Braun that deliberately got a guy fired to cover up his lies and like the racist garbage residing in cheaters Houston, gave a standing ovation for their resident racist.

With Grandal's deer in headlights routine w/ RISP, that's a bit of a stretch.

Grandal is basically Babe Ruth the IV.

We are likely seeing his last days in the blue, but the frustrating aspect is that he was second in FanGraphs WAR for all catchers. In other words, do not expect any improvement, if any, in the near future--though Will Smith could be around the corner and Ruiz around a couple corners.

I am hoping our bats give Ryu some early runs so he pitches with a lot of confidence.

I’ve seen a couple of articles about it:

https://www.google.com/amp/s/www.brewcrewball.com/platform/amp/2018/10/19/17999432/milwaukee-brewers-think-the-los-angeles-dodgers-may-be-stealing-their-signs-per-report

It’s funny to me that they complain about stealing signs at a time the offense is struggling so much.

Miley should be tough today. We only started scoring runs after he was taken out in game 2.

I'm hoping they learned a thing or two from game 2 about Miley and is able to adjust.

Lineup tonight:

Freese 1B
Muncy 2B
Turner 3B
Machado SS
Bellinger CF
Taylor LF
Puig RF
Barnes C
Ryu P

Tonight is the first time Kiké Hernandez isn’t starting against a LHP since July 29, 2017. It snaps a span of 90 straight starts vs. southpaws.

He doesn’t have a hit in his last 12 plate appearances, and he’s 2-for-22 (.091) this postseason.

A lot of struggling hitters for a team that’s accused of stealing signs.
