I love him, but Luke is miscasting him as a perimeter stopper.

How bout a shorter Jimmy Butler?

What about a rich man Josh Howard?

Josh Howard became an All-Star in 2007, averaged 20 ppg in 2008. Comparing Hart to him is a stretch right now. Hart looks like a solid role player but not an All-Star and that is fine. So 'rich man' Josh Howard... No, just no. But hey we're all hopeful for the best.

And Josh Hart is averaging 20 ppg. So what now?
Checkmate

When does 15 round up to 20?

He's at 15.5, it rounds up to 20 technically

Hart had a baddddd game tonight.
Not only was he handicapped by the refs vs Harden,
But he missed a bunch of easy shots and made a few irrational decisions with the ball.

Agreed as bad as many of his decisions were tonight and how limited he is offensively, his worst attribute by far is his perimeter defense. I do not understand why we have him in late in games... Maybe play Javale Luke or why not KCP? Just inexcusable

Lance was shockingly doing a good job against Harden in the 4th to even my surprise. Once Josh switched over towards the end, Harden basically used his vet experience to draw silly touch fouls off Josh.

Josh is very valuable beacause hes perfect for modern 3&d. Typical 3&d players doesnt work anymore because teams switch so much and they do it better comparing to past. With that much switching happening you need players who can penetrate.

I have a higher view of his offensive impact than you do, but I agree his perimeter defense may be the worst part of his game.

Im gonna cut him some slack.

Game 1..even the best defenders have bad games
Game 2..good luck with cp3 and Harden

He's not Andre. R but he puts in effort..maybe too much effort sometimes.
Im of the mind he can only get better, especially if we keep putting him in those situations

Did you say Poor Man's Jimmy Butler?
So Jimmy Butler without the defense but with the 3 ball?

I'd give up 2 3ball attempts a tame for the stellar defense. But getting JHart w/o having to pay top dollar for Jimmy? I'll take it!

It’s a crying shame he’s not starting, he’s playing like one of our top 3 players

Hart seems to play good defense against forwards, but when he’s matched up against other guards he gets called for ticky tacks

Hart. Just sign with Klutch. Then you’ll get the starting nod.

I don't understand why people doubted he could do what he's doing. It was clear this is exactly what you could and should expect from him.

KCP has never earned a starting spot here. Ever.

Hart has. Enough of the crap Luke.

20/10 coming off the bench.

if he doesnt start soon with Kuzma, Luke needs to be fired.

KCP absolutely doesnt play any defense nor his shot is falling

Glad he's at least taking more and more of KCPs mins. Either he or Kuz need to start, if not both.

He looked like he hurt his ankle late in OT, hoping nothing serious.
