This kid does everything you can ask for.....he hits 3's.....he is strong to the basket.....he defends well several positions
I dont give this guy away in any trade.....and you just know teams are going to ask for him. |

Does this mean Lonzo BI & Kuz are all tradable to you? |

I agree, he is like a mini Butler for us... don’t see him going anywhere even in a Anthony Davis trade. |

In terms of value to the Lakers, I would rate the four young players as follows:
Lonzo
Hart
Kuzma
Ingram
I know that is controversial, since BI may have the highest ceiling of the group, but right now he is a jack of all trades that doesn't fill any particular strong need. Lonzo, Hart, and Kuzma all seem to be better complements to LeBron due to playmaking (Lonzo), defense (Lonzo and Hart), 3-point shooting (all 3 of them), and ability to score off the pass without initiating the offense (all three of them).
I hope Ingram has a great year but I suspect that if he does he may be the centerpiece of a trade. |

There are many categories to use to rate prospects.
First obviously is talent.
But another importnat consideration is contract size and when their rookie deals are up (i.e. extension and RFA).
Hart is making pennies and has several years on his deal. That makes him valuable aside from the talent he's showcasing on the court.
BI is about to get expensive really soon (extension eligible next summer, RFA in 2020). _________________ From 2-10 to the Western Conference Finals |

For the right player(s)? Yes, and I would include Hart in that. I just doubt that type of player gets offered. _________________ RIP mom. 11-21-1933 to 6-14-2023. |

Lol I’ll trade Ingram, Lonzo, Kuzma and Hart for AD any day of the week including holiday. Only my heart can pause if AD suffer a major injury. Other than that, gone in a second. |

being absolutely untouchable is high praise.
There’s probably less than 10 in the NBA.
Glad one of them is Hart |

I don't think we have an unquestioned untouchable player.
That would be someone like Giannis or AD (age factored in for me). With some of the older guys it's more complicated, but we don't have a KD or Curry level talent amongst the young guys either.
I think if were to get a bona fide all nba level player in return we'd trade the "untouchable" players in a heartbeat. _________________ From 2-10 to the Western Conference Finals |

I’m in the same boat.
I love Hart but none of the young guys are untouchable
Imo there’s only a handful of untouchable players in the league.. |

Giving up the whole farm is just gonna give rival teams a reason to laugh at us, Boston will likely offer Tatum and Hayward for AD and we are gonna give up all those pieces? |

How does Hart have 7 years on contract?
Thought he’s RFA in 2021 |

Zero chance Boston gives up Tatum
But I do think the value of those 2 is about equal to Lonzo, Kuz, BI & Hart |

Yes because it easy to build when you have a franchise player as the biggest piece. And with Lebron, that’s not even debatable for me. Lakers way is always win rings. We ain’t like Orlando who is more of a farm system for us. |

The advantageous part for Boston is that they got quality picks they can trade in a Davis trade while the Lakers don’t. |

Ideally we would deal a couple for a star and keep the rest as role players. _________________ RIP mom. 11-21-1933 to 6-14-2023. |

Another reason why I say they wouldn’t trade Tatum
I think they would give up Kyrie before him. |

None of the young guys are untouchable. Hart I think is the defacto SG in waiting, to replace KCP. |

i like your loyalty but we need to stop using untouchable word so often
there's only like 5 untouchable players in the NBA
Steph
Durant
AD
Lebron
Giannis
non-franchise players, role players, good players are touchable
if your team CAN GET BETTER for the player in question, they are touchable...lol |

He can play 1-4 . Not against those long 4 who can post up but the stretch 4. His versatility and ability to play well without the ball will get him minutes no matter what. |
