Cool. Let me try. Let's see if I get this right.
Svi is untouchable cuz "you better come correct if you wanna put in an offer for him."
How'd I do? |

You lost me on the vegetarian analogy.
Is Hart the vegetarian or the meat? |

People like to say (bleep) all the time, but when it comes down to it, they'll make the trade or eat the meat. |

The purity of Hart's shot right now is a thing of beauty... the way he violently swishes the ball in from 30 feet makes me a believer... that it's not a fluke... it's the sound of precision gained from complete confidence and hours of practice.
Add that to the rest of his game and he becomes something perhaps not absolutely untouchable but pretty damn close.
If he ends up above 40% from three... I can think of few players I'd rather have in his place. |

Interesting analogy. So you're saying vegetarians like to say (bleep) all the time but when it comes down to it, they'll be eating meat? |

I think Harts greatest value isn't what he does on the court, it's what he does on the court relative to his salary.
He's on a very cheap, cost controlled, contract, that's just starting. THAT is his greatest value.
He is ABSOLUTELY trade-able. |

Hart is becoming a very solid NBA player. Only include him in a trade if you are getting an all-star in return for the package that sends out Hart. I hope the Lakers keep him, when thinking of a solid championship team you need players like Josh Hart. |

What would Hart be worth on the open market right now? |

what if hart is more like an impossible burger? fake meat made from abundantly available plant protein. 3 and D guys are a dime a dozen in the nba these days, we just happen to have drafted one in hart. |

He's not a 3 and D guy.
He's also not untouchable.
But he will come at a very high price. |

You kid, but if you gave Josh 21 shots like Kawhi he'd also be scoring 30 points a game right now.
He's not Kawhi, but if he maintains 40% 3 point shooting, he will be pretty close. |

What makes him more valuable is his cheap contract. So yeah the price would be high to trade him. |

Josh Hart is the perfect player for the current NBA, regardless of if he ends up staying a role player or if he can become a borderline all-star.
Offensively, he can score at the rim and draw fouls, he can can shoot the the three ball at a high percentage, he can handle the ball and make the correct pass, doesn't make too many stupid mistakes on the floor.Defensively he's strong for his size, has very good defensive IQ, can be very valuable on and off the ball and has versatility for a guard. He's also a very good athlete.
He's the perfect fit with Lebron James, I've always thought of Josh Hart as our version of Danny Green. I always wished Danny Green was on the Lakers, his skills are so valuable for any championship team. _________________ “Life is too short. You have to keep it moving.” - Kobe |

I don't think he's ever given us anything to complain about. Of all people, he deserves some slack. Bad games will happen to everybody. |

Well, sometimes, GMs take matter into their own hands
That's not what you said earlier. You said, Lakers follow orders or people die. |
