Your writing is really popping these days, and it's cool to see your library of vids come in handy for quick visual reference to accentuate your observations.
The 1st half of the 1st game against the Warriors was a tiny, tiny sample size, but it may be the most illustrative of how the team will look this season (I hope). Did the 3PA/100 possessions change at all during those 24 minutes with Lonzo out there, Lebron getting a longer first half shift, and Luke scrapping the 1-4 high? Or was there no difference? _________________ Under New Management

Thanks, man. I was working on that piece for a while and hated every version of it but the final one, so I'm glad to hear that you liked it. A lot of self-loathing went into this one. lol
I'm counting 4-16 on threes in that first half vs Golden State that you're referring to, which is a much higher rate than they were shooting them at during the other games. That also coincided with them running a lot less 1-4 High.

Ha! Why do you think so many writers and journalists like to drink? And I feel you, when I have to write something for work I miraculously become much more productive on LG.com.
Thank you for the data. That's a positive sign even in a small, small sample size - the Cavs were 5th in 3PAs last season with 32 per game for comparison. I'd love it if the Lakers could get north of 30 attempts per game this season with the right guys taking them. _________________ Under New Management
GT - video idea: Lonzo and Lance as the odd couple. Just clips of Stephenson ignoring Zo and Zo being disgusted with Lance's ball-hogging and one man zone defense.
Just an idea for a fun 2:00 vid. _________________ Under New Management
GT, I'm curious as to what you're more concerned about at this point - that this FO (as much props as they get for their staI think r hunting plan and signing Lebron) doesn't know how to build a balanced roster fit for today's NBA, or this coaching staff doesn't know how to design a proper offensive system fit for today's NBA?
Whilst I know you both owned mansions on Julius Randle Island would either of you at least consider renting a timeshare on Lance Stephenson Peninsula given his recent spate of play?

Haha, we shall see. I'm putting away the pitchforks and torches, one step at a time.
Yo Pete, LFR on Spotify is a huge (bleep) win man. No more downloading from SoundCloud for me! Commute to work over here in the UK is going to be awesome twice a week now, great news.

It really is much better than SoundCloud.
People have been asking for ages, and I've been trying. A guy who's been helping me out finally got them to respond. I'm excited.

ah damn, i missed it
I missed it too but the YouTube link allows you to replay it -- was a lot of fun re-living the final minutes of the game listening to Pete's emotional roller coaster down the stretch!
Really enjoyed the LFR Live stream, once you got it synced up it was interesting to have your take on the live game and you kept pace with everything quite admirably. Looking forward to you bringing Darius on board as your color guy:
Pete: Kawhi running off the high screen for the Raptors here, Kuz needs to help more there, Kawhi makes it. Good execution, bad defense. Lonzo brings it up and Luke wants to slow it down here, he's called time out with 4:23 remaining in the 2nd. Darius, do you feel Lukes current rotations are giving us the best chance to get the win tonight?
Darius: Well...Yes and no...
(time passes)
Darius: ...and that's what I think at least anyway.
Pete: Okay so that's halftime. We'll be right back.
