Curious what the consensus is on this? I am thinking it is probably around 60%.
Reasons: AD switching to LBJ's agent; Pelicans are not playing well; BI's game doesn't synergize with LBJ's as much as non-ball dominant, spot-up shooters who move well without the ball (Kuzma); Lonzo seems to have had any leadership qualities, passion, and personality excised from him by over-dominant moron father; Lonzo has no touch around the rim which is kind of important for a PG.
edit:Tried to add a 0% poll option, but it disappeared for some reason.

Like a lot of questions, the answer is it depends. I voted below 50% because trades are hard to get done, especially for superstars.
I don't see the Lakers doing anything major this year to preserve cap space and get a 2nd all star in free agency. Durant and Kawhi are the big fish but chances are low (doesn't seem like Durant has a favored destination and Kawhi seems to favor the Clippers). Klay Thompson, Jimmy Butler, and Kyrie Irving are the next batch of all stars but Jimmy didn't include the Lakers as a preferred destination and no to Kyrie, leaving Klay as the most likely free agent to join.
Once Lakers get a 2nd all star, then I think everyone is in play for Anthony Davis to complete a Big 3.
TLDR: To get a Big 3, Lakers have to preserve cap space and sign an All Star 2019. Then they can trade whoever for the 3rd All Star. I believe this is Magic's plan.

0%. If the Pelicans decided to trade Davis they could do better than that package. I don’t see the Pelicans deciding to trade Davis. _________________ RIP mom. 11-21-1933 to 6-14-2023.

It will get bigger and bigger as Pelicans piling up Ls more than Ws. By next summer, after we sign another marquee free agent. AD will ask to be traded to us. Ingram will definitely be part of the package.

If the Lakers give up Ball to get AD imo they must resign Rondo to a 2-3 year contract in order to actually win a championship. Otherwise Lebron will age MUCH faster without someone to help him push the pace and facilitate the offense. _________________ Lakers 49ers Chargers Dodgers
So the plan would be to turn the Pelicans into the 2017 Lakerz? I bet they're just salivating over that opportunity. They'd probably then hire Byron just to complete the transition... _________________ I'm On point, On task, On message, and Off drugs. A Streetwise Smart Bomb, Out of rehab and In denial. Anthony Davis is the best player since Durant. I don't even think they would trade him for a package of Simmons, Embiid, and Fultz. _________________ Damian Lillard shatters Dwight Coward's championship dreams:
