I agree with the lineup change too... under the condition that Brandon’s at least attempting 3s with more regularity and Josh Hart is consistent as a starter. I remember he had a couple duds shortly after being made a starter last stretch.

Basically I’m just asking both guys to be able to replace what Kuz brings as a scorer to the starters (and replace his gravity). I think they can in theory.

Yeah, that's what I'd be looking for as well.

My brother's doing other stuff and I have shared custody of my dogs with my ex. I have them during the week and she has them on the weekends. They'll probably make an appearance on LFR Live next week.

Dogs are smart - first they'll work you for an extra treat or two. Then, they'll start staying up late and misbehaving (Mom always let's us). Pretty soon they'll only want to be with the parent who gives them the most. That's how you'll win. You can make them famous.

GT, few questions about one of my favorite plays from last night. Really great design, haven't really seen us use an action like this since KB/LO/Pau used to run some variations of it.

Play here. The very first score in the game (ends with Kuz hooking it off the backboard). How much of this was purposeful i.e. was Kuzma designed to cut there? Did they break another, longer play short due to the overplay or was it intentional? Obviously zo has a couple options at the beginning, with more forming on the weak side between BI/McGee (BI could take the screen and flash up high for a 3, cut baseline if there is an overplay..McGee could easily screen and crash to the hoop for an oops, lots to do here). Do you know the name of this set? How frequently do we use it? (It's such a flexible and accommodating set design, but I get the sense it is criminally underused. Didn't see it much at all for the rest of the game.)

I like how for just a a moment as if Kuz is settling in the corner with LBJ downloaw and Zo up high (basic triangle action), before Kuz cuts around and LBJ extends himself outside the free throw line. That's kind of what sparked my question, reminded me of the triangle and Kobe occupying the pinch post, a system which bred so many smart reads and quick reactions like above.

I've been sick for the last 10 days or so, and there are family obligations for Thanksgiving. We'll pick back up next week.

Since it was the first play of the game, I'm guessing that they had something scouted out, that they would overplay the Zipper Cut there and Kuz could back cut it. It may have been Kuz's read though. Difficult to tell, but the first play is usually a set play designed to take advantage of something that particular opponent is vulnerable to.

Thanks. I'm fine now, it's just that the holidays are here now so Darius isn't available this weekend.

Kobe stepped to the line and drained 2 free throws with a torn Achilles.
