I know I am on a Lonzo rant but too many people think he's going to be so good.
When they needed him, he sucked eggs!!
Apologists beware...this is as good as he is going to get. |

It’s kind of funny, when looking at this years player picture of him, when paired with an awful stat line like tonight on SportsNet, almost looks as if he knows he’s had a bad game. And he’s very sorry about it. And, he’ll try harder next time. |

Just an off night all around. I guess they were due for a game like this after all of those games where they couldn't miss. |

What are you talking about?
Lonzo as always been a bad player. I don't know what "form" you mean but facts say that this is how he usually plays.
We get much more games like this than great performances. |

Problem is we're in a "competing mode" and not "rebuilding mode". Bad players (vets or rookies) do not get a long leash. We can't tolerate a bad game from Lonzo and keep letting him play. You have been watching Lonzo "attacking", right? I would ENCOURAGE him to attack attack attack the basket like a madman if he could do it. If you've been watching him play, you should know if that would be a good idea or not. |
It's hard to expect this team to compete for a championship, or consistently, when outside a couple of veterans, team consists to 21-25 year olds that are still learning to compete at highest level.
Lonzo does not lack in physical talent. He has the height, athleticism to do whatever he wants on the floor. I believe issue is mindset. He looks to facilitate and set up his teammates, and that takes plenty of bbiq and quick reads/decisions. How do you transform very self-less player to single-minded, aggressive scorer. It will take time for him to strike a balance between these two distinct mindsets. |

What a horrible ugly loss. Just no effort displayed, can't explain why but that was a damn shame. If they didn't care, I sure as hell don't. Next game is hours away already.
On a side note, my shift at work is drastically changing Monday so I made the effort of saying no sleep for more than 24 hrs so I can re-calibrate my sleeping patterns. I watched this game late on the dvr and I was awake but noticeably tired, I may have cared more if they seemed to care more. Any who, I was just pissed at the lack of effort but my OCD will get the better of me and I will fire up the League Pass app and watch this game more closely before tonight's matchup with the Heat. |
