Now I wonder... would our best lineup be
Hart
KCP
James
Kuzma
McGee
all five are strong finishers, 4 of them are willing to shoot the three, defensively could work if LeBron tries.
Switch Hart with Rondo and you can go run and gun _________________ I was an atheist, until I knew Kobe.

It's a bit thinking outside the box lineup.
Lonzo
KCP
Svi
Lebron
Mcgee
I know it's a bit crazy putting Svi in the starting lineup but Lebron needs shooters around him and KCP and Svi would provide him that.
Then you would have a second unit of
Rondo
Hart
BI
Kuz
Chandler | i agree with your starting 5. as crazy as it sounds and No SVi has done nothing to earn the job. But for spacing purposes . i think it would be perfect. I also think svi would blossom with that group. but you would have to let him go thru his early growing pains before he turns into a bomber from deep. |

This is quite the disaster lineup.
Rondo/BI/LBJ should never see the court together. All 3 need the ball in their hands and LBJ should frankly have it over them. |
I don't have a problem switching Ingram for Kuzma or Hart... I don't care who starts
I'm only saying that Lonzo and Ingram will do better without being put in a lineup where they have to defer to vets, and with one that has shooters.
Keep them away from Lance.
Let Lance freestyle with LBJ. |
I actually like Lonzo's fit with LBJ. I don't think LBJ needs more ball pounding PG play from a guy like Rondo. I think BI is the most affected out of all our young core. But he has to adapt, not the other way around. |
If Lonzo plays like he did the three games before last... aggressive Lonzo... I'm fine with him starting and closing.
If he's playing like passive Lonzo who can't even layup on a open basket... who passes up a shot right under the rim to pass out for a contested three... then no. |

I think we may be better served starting KCP at the two. I love Hart and I think he would ultimately be the best at the two. But for the team, I feel KCP needs to start to get the best out of him. Also, it's clear that Ingram needs to move back to his natural position. I think he's doing ok defensively but I believe his offense will flourish once he's back to the 3. Kuzma isnt shooting the 3 well. I don't think a demotion will hurt his confidence. In fact, I think it will motivate him. I would rather have Hart at 2 to start but I think Hart/Kuzma can take over the scoring on the second unit while KCP would have / is having issues.
Lonzo
KCP
Ingram
Lebron
McGee
Rondo
Hart
Lance
Kuzma

Yes. Also the second unit would destroy any other second unit in the league. |

I agree that should be the starting lineup....but I have no problems with Luke surrounding Lebron with Hart, Kuz, KCP, Svi, etc. when the matchup or situation calls for more shooting.....even if that leaves Ingram and Lonzo with less minutes some nights. Or any other configuration....but Lonzo and BI have to start for basketball and non-basketball reasons.
I wish more Laker fans could support them finding success together instead of supporting one, and thinking that requires a constant case against the other one. Neither are playing up to our expectations. |

Even assuming you could get Lebron to agree to this, is Ingram still the best option at the 3? Hart, KCP and Zo can all defend there, and make more sense offensively. |

An emoji is thoughts? If you had had the courtesy to explain your disagreement I wouldn't have gone there. One childish reply deserves another, I suppose. |

If you really want to go there....it is well reported that Jackson is having a disaster season, right? Still, in November in only 15 MPG, he is averaging the same amount of points as Ball is in over 26 MPG....and doing it while having a better FG% and 3FG%. Yet, one player you feel is a deep dig at me, while claiming the other is a highly gifted player with transcending basketball ability.
Like I said, no reason for Jackson to be in this conversation, but you clearly felt otherwise. |

Keep clinging to those boxscore numbers. He's currently ranked 427 out of 438 players in RPM, and that's probably a good showing for him. When the numbers first came out he was in the bottom 3, IIRC. |

Lonzo has a higher TS% and is better in every aspect of the game besides scoring. |

Starters
Zo
KCP
Hart
LBJ
Javale
All 3 guards are decent catch and shoot 3 guys and all play defense. Hart or Zo could guard most SFs in the league.
Bench
Rondo
lance
BI
Kuz
Chandler
Having rondo handle the ball would end up with less Lance ISO’s. This would be a very fast paced 2nd unit, and although the shooting and defense wouldn’t be amazing, they’d be tough. |
