Our depth is reliant on his pro level reps. We need shooters you say? Let’s cultivate it while King can make up for the difference. It means the difference between shooting not to miss and shooting to hurt the other team.

It seemed like Lebron kept looking for him.
I think Lebron knows what the kid can do in practice and wants to see if he's one of the guys he can trust in-game.

While Svi's shot has not been too reliable last night against the Spurs it was clear that he can defend at the NBA level. I thought he looked great despite missing open shots. That is a good sign because the kid can shoot.

I'm not sure we seem him big minutes in any game, but the team needed him to simply not suck last night and he gave good minutes.

Agreed, the other facets of his game make him so potentially useful if he can shoot. He's much more than a Hollis Thompson type whose only skill is C&S jumpers.

If Svi doesn't shoot, he's not an NBA player. But if he does shoot, he can bring more varied value that could give him a chance at being a 5th starter in the NBA one day.

I think it's pretty clear the game is simply moving at a break neck speed for him and he is trying too hard.. When he lost the ball late and turned it over it just looked like he was overwhelmed.. IMO that is all a good thing because you can clearly see he has a solid all around game once he settles down just a little bit.

I'd personally prefer that he mostly plays in the g league or at least not in crucial moments just yet but I can also see the other side of the argument where if it suddenly clicks for him and he settles down a bit and starts to feel more comfortable he could be a massive boost with his shooting.

Either him or Wagner could help greatly if just one of them found a way to be a legit threat in limited minutes this season.

Lol I’ll wait for a much larger sample size but good to see his shots starting to fall this game, can’t help but be excited for the kid

Seems he's slowly getting up to NBA speed which is important for rhythm.

They’re taking advantage of him on the defensive end.

Nice couple of 3s in the first half. He got exploited in the fourth, but he wasn’t the only one.

Where was this shooting!?

Hope Svi uses these last two games as motivation going forward. He can knock it down like the rest of em when he’s confident.

Svi was better today. A little iffy at the start of the 4th, but I was very happy to see him knock down a couple of threes while under a bit of duress today, even if a couple of them were in garbage time. Hopefully this is a confidence builder for him and he can knock down the looks more often as the season progresses.

There was a play where he ran off screens like Klay or Rip hamilton or Ray allen and drained it.

I think he could do that, on a regular basis. He looked super comfortable doing it even more so than spot up

He's improving. I hope he doesn't get chained to the bench completely when BI and Rondo come back but that is what I expect.
