Beal for Eric Gordon, Nene, and Chriss works in the trade machine, and I'd imagine that the Rockets would have to send out at least two 1st round picks to get that done. And the Rockets' 2019 pick may not even be too bad, and perhaps the Wizards are in a position to demand that it be unprotected.

I guess they could tear it down and trade Harden, too.

Wizards are back in the playoff picture. I don't see them trading Beal or anyone right now.

I’m assuming that there not content beating teams like ATL/Brooklyn/Knick’s as a sign that there players should stay put, this team was supposed to be one of the factors in the EC, you think beating those teams is all of a sudden gonna make them think about standing pat?

They are a couple of games out from being the 4 seed in the East.

They may look to trade, but I don't see them looking to trade to start a rebuild.

He'd be a great signing. Unfortunately, Clips will absolutely resign him unless they get KD and Kawhi.

Again he is unrestricted free agent, it's his choice where to sign.

Other then offering a contract however crazy they have no say in what he will decide

I know he is not signing for 23 but the point I m trying to make is clippers have no say

Yes, there's the possibility he will takes less money to be a Laker. That thing every player in the NBA wants to do.

I noticed that too, but also remember that Marc Stein kicked off the tweet where he says that Phoenix could look to move him as soon as Dec. 15th. Maybe he's wrong, but I don't understand why Ariza couldn't be moved on Dec. 15th. He signed before the season started, obviously. But maybe I'm missing something.

The january 15 limit is for players who resigned with previous teams, moreover some financial criteria,so Ariza doesn't make the list
CP3 does,to name one of them

Of note are players ranked #3, 6, 7, 20 and 24 who are FAs that the Lakers may be interested in.

It's a fluid list. But the guys we are likely pursuing in FA are all in the top 25. Interesting.

I'd take him over Melo

That's crazy. I remember when the Lakers played them, Ireland and Thompson were saying how great he looked in warmups and that they were confused why some of these guys (I think Zach Lavine was on the list too) look great in warmups in staples center and then they sit out the game. I guess he had a good reason to.

Wow.
That's a shame man.
The Thunder did really win that trade after all.

(Waiting for Lakers fans to go to the trade machine to see who they can get from the Pacers) lol

That tweet explains in theory why LeBron is having a better season at the age 34 compared to last year.. it’s because our guys play defense especially right now which saves him from having to overload with his high usage, we are fortunate that guys like BI/Kuzma/Zo are one of the best young defenders in the NBA, it saves LeBron and his elite D for the playoffs.

I genuinely can’t tell if you’re trolling right now.

1. Lebron isn’t having a better year. He’s just playing with no expectations and clearly going for more ppg

2. I’ll give you Zo. But the other two are terrible defenders! I’m really hoping you meant to say Hart instead of Kuz.

3. Lebron hasn’t played “elite D” since the 2013 finals.

I think it's reading comprehension more than trolling. Or perhaps the limited amount of chars in a tweet which makes it harder to grasp a user's intention? I believe the tweet was referring to that specific game. But was saying it might be something that becomes beneficial during the rest of the season. But my comprehension might off too haha. This is twitter after all

BTW, the Lakers are 8th in defensive rating. The addition of Chandler and allowing Kuzma to guard perimeter guys and Hart to guard some 4s have done some good for our team defense.
