Today, LeBron was Lebron.
Kuzma has been playing very well and more all-rounded.
Hart and KCP played very well too today. Luke may need to consider playing them (especially Hart) more with the starting unit.
Lonzo is an enigma. His defence and passing as invaluable, but his lack of offence is a concern.
We are so lucky to have Javale and Tyson. They are really interchangeable.
Svi has been looking more comfortable recently and has started hitting his shots.

Wow, what an encouraging win. They completely dismantled one of the best teams in the league on the road and they did it with the recipe the Griz use - formidable D. The offense was also clicking, and against one of the top defensive teams to boot.
Nice balanced attack.
KcP, Hart, Svi and Mcgee all in double digits with Lance a point short, liked that the most.
Lebron was Lebronic(out of adjectives), with Kuz doing an admirable impersonation.
Zo left the building some when his shot wasn't falling but was always the hound on D.
Both teams were on the 2nd games of B2Bs. The Lakers lost the night before, the Grizz won. So we had extra incentive and showed tremendous energy.
Kuz is becoming Lebronic (thanks PauPau), playing an excellent all-around game on both ends of the floor. 20-9-6 and 50% FGs to LBJ's 20-8-9 on 50% FGs. He had a great block at the rim after being beaten momentarily and a sweet behind the backboard shot. The floater in the paint is becoming his signature shot.
3-ball was huge. Hart's 3 in a row in the 2ndQ broke the game open. KCP's and Svi's later in the game kept the separation.
Bonga and Mo got a look. Zo was sleepwalking in Memphis. 0 boards? That's unusual for him.

Strange but encouraging how the Lakers had so much energy after basically just giving away the game the night before. _________________ Damian Lillard shatters Dwight Coward's championship dreams:
If he have guys like Hart, Svi, and KCP hitting the threes, this team is going to be good.
I
That's pretty much what the front office was hoping for/expecting as they constructed the roster. The only player on our roster who projected to be above average as a three point shooter was Svi.
And the FO knew better than to depend upon a rookie. But when you look at the roster:
Hart- projected as good to very good
KCP- 38% last year. FO are hoping for him to do it again
Ball- rookie last year coming off of a 41% mark at UCLA
James- nothing need to be said
Wagner- projected to be a very good 3pt shooter
etc.,....we might not ever be very good as a team, but good might be good enough w/LeBron

Kuzma is starting to remind me of a young James Worthy or Kevin Love when he was with the Cavaliers. Not necessarily the second option (Kareem and Kyrie were the second options respectively) but will get you points, boards, passing and defense on a consistent basis.
Liked Hart, Svi and KCP shooting from the perimeter. It opened up the paint for cutters/slashers and passing for easier buckets.
The rebounding advantage was kind of a mirage. Grizzlies were not even trying to get offensive boards and the the two starting guards combined for one whole defensive rebound (and it was not like they were taking off to start a fast break).
Lebron had a low usage last night (only 16 of 98 total shots and only 3 free throws) which was good. He got up for the game in Miami and I am sure he will be up for what could be his last game against DWade.
Luke may want to consider giving McGee a game off. He seems a little low on energy for the last week and may need a blow. It has been several years since he has had to log this many minutes and a break may help him. We have Charlotte, Washington and Brooklyn coming up and one of those may be a game to do so. I would compare it to a rookie just coming into the league and getting worn down by the pace compared to what he played in college.
Ball continues to be maddeningly inconsistent. He seems to struggle against teams with shot blocking bigs like the Grizzlies. He had a layup or two blocked and stopped penetrating. And when he penetrates it seems like he has made up his mind beforehand whether to pass or shoot. I am starting to worry if he is a player with great physical abilities but does not have the right head for a championship team. I just do not know. _________________ Keep winning!
