In a span of 2 years, LA went from 1 really bad football team to 2 Super Bowl contending teams.

Anthony Lynn is now 20-6 in his last 26 games after starting his coaching career 0-4. They've had a pretty easy schedule this year, but still, wins are wins. Especially this one. Even if they end up getting the #5 seed (they still lose the tiebreaker to KC right now if they both win out), just knowing they went into KC and won, exorcising some demons, has to give them some confidence that they can run the table on the road in the AFC playoffs.

I know KC lost to the Pats and Chargers, but I think they beat those teams in the playoffs if they meet again. Also, I'm hoping the Ravens lose this weekend to give the Colts a chance at the playoffs.

Its crazy to imagine had the Chargers not blown the game vs the Broncos they probably would have 12 wins and the best record in the AFC. Even though they didn't win home field for the playoffs vs the Chiefs, they beat the team which essentially kept them out of the playoffs last year.

That KC @ Seattle game just got a lot more interesting. The Hawks run game against a Chiefs defense that's atrocious against the run equals Mahomed spending a lot of time on the sidelines @ CenturyLink watching the last "Phenom", "Game Manage". Gonna be fun to watch. Crowd should be bananas.

Chargers can go further than KC in the playoffs. how many times have we seen an unstoppable offensive juggernaut during the regular season only to lay an egg in first game of the playoffs? Playoffs are a different animal, defense and running game still rules in the post season doesn't matter how many QB friendly rules the league have adapted lately. this is why i don't think Rams will go far in the playoffs, unless they find a way to recommit to the running game.

So much for the Chiefs being unbeatable at Arrowhead.

Chargers have advantages which people have thought as negatives...
One is that pretty much nobody except themselves believed in their team. Because of that they have pretty much flew under the radar, hell most of their home games are essentially road games. They also learned to play in a hostile environment every weekend. Also they have learned to play from behind and for the most part fixed their kicking situation which was a big vulnerability.

I guess they forgot the many times Manning has won there...

That game last night reminded me of the game vs the Broncos a couple years back. That one was more brutal considering they literally fumbled that one away.

The officiating in both the Chargers-Chiefs game and the Lakers-Rockets game was absurd.

Is this really the best we can do as far as officiating?

I think not, no more legacy hires, no more equal opportunity hires of incompetents, no more James Harden shooting 20 FT's in game.

Little Hochuli is brutal in the NFL, the Chargers were called for absurd PI penalties while the Chiefs held all game. Without the refs, Chargers blow them out.

Also, if a guy shoots 20 FT's in a game, he should be bleeding by the end.

If the refs toy with the Chargers all game, then give us a call or two that matters at the end, I'm cool with it

Of course, it's annoying to see people saying the Chargers only won 2-3 games with ref help this year after the game and act like calls/non-calls that benefited the other side don't exist. Maybe we should all just agree that NFL refs are bad and the calls more or less even out over the course of a game and season. The NBA is another story...

Unless the Cowboys get going SAS is going to have a field day with Max and Will Cain tomorrow. "I told ya, I told ya. They will find a way to mess things up."

I didn't see the game but the Browns are on a roll. Won last 2. Beat the Broncos 17 16. 6-7, 1 game off the AFC North division lead. Baker Mayfield may be what they needed.

That should leave little time for the Cowboys to put some points on the board. Impressive game by the Colts.

INT......Stick a fork in em, they're done for the day. 23-0 shutout. SAS is somewhere licking his chops waiting for tomorrows FirstTake airing.

Not so sure, KC's offensive line looked terrible against the Chargers.
