Harden was never a great 3 point percentage shooter, hovering around 35% i would guess. i'd give him additional space beyond the arch and entice him to shoot the three every possession. that's better than let him blow by you and flop his way to the free throw line 30 times a game shooting at 90% clip.
there really not much anything our players can do when Harden takes a jumper and kicks his legs into our players spot.
multiple times last night he took a jumper and on his way down, kicked his legs out and feel to the ground to draw the foul.
thats up to the refs to call that an offensive foul since he has more than enough landing spot, yet he flops and falls on his way down to make it seem like someone touched him.
ex:
hes ALREADY FALLING BACK before Hart even got close to him, and he didnt have that much momentum to push him from the 3pt line to nearly mid court. Also, when players are going over the screen, Harden gets close to the guy setting the screen and goes up for a "shot", and he gets the call.. thats not basketball.
flopping highlights. this guy trips and falls every time he feels someones jersey close to him.
EVEN C-WEBB was asking where are the fouls, those arent fouls. lol

A guy like House Jr. putting up higher numbers is the by product of Harden going nuclear and the defense having to collapse to contain him.
House's 15 points was not the difference in the game. He averages 8.5 so he only put up 6.5 more than his average and that's only because he shot 3/5 from behind the arc where he normally shoots 30%. If you're going to cheat off of someone because one player can't cover Harden then that's the guy you slack off of.
You want to look for missing points, look at the 12 missed FTs and getting out-rebounded 43/31. _________________ "Suck it up. Don't be a baby. Do your job." - Kobe Bryant

unfortunately, this won't stop until someone (defender) gets hurt by this kind of trick play.

He's only played in 9 games this season with most of his points coming in garbage time (Houston sees a lot of those this year).
There is no reason why he should be getting 15 against our rotation players even if they cheat off of him.

Now people understand why Artest Elbowed him in the jaw.
19 FTAs in the manner he got the calls is unacceptable.
It should be an embarrassing look for the NBA, but I'm sure they'll just give him another MVP. _________________ From 2-10 to the Western Conference Finals

Harden going 50, that is fine that’s what he does but that’s not the reason why we lost.
Daniel House- a no named player that went undrafted and was cut from the warriors should not be getting ‘his’ against us.
15 points and that was the difference of the game.
NAH. He went for a 50 point triple double. That ain't fine.
Over 70+ points responsible for (scoring and assisting).
He's played 800+ games in his career and he's had a 50 point triple double only 4 times.
If he had a 30/8/5 game (his season average), that would've been "fine". Not ideal. But manageable. _________________ "Every hurt is a lesson, and every lesson makes you better”

It was just hard to watch the way Kuz and Zo tried to play defense arms extended at the end trying not to touch him. At that point they were deflated and didn't know how to guard him.
