his stats are terrific, i wasnt that impressed with his performance, he had 30-20, randle, holiday had numbers and still that was a relatively easy win for us,dont forget we are talking about giving up kuz, BI, Lonzo and 1st round picks |

That's the whole thing--he didn't look like he was imposing himself on the game in any way and he gets 30/20/5. He looked to me like he was running on fumes all night. I didn't realize he had grabbed 20 boards. So yeah, give me flu-AD any night over most guys in the league. |

Just chiming in now - watched the game about a half hour behind real time so peeking at the game thread would have been a spoiler for me.
First thought - and I'm guessing there are a lot of others saying this too - WOW Zu where were you hiding earlier this season?!? THIS is the Zubac I was excited about in his rookie season. I actually felt more confident in the Lakers winning late in the game when Zubac took the floor and Tyson Chandler sat. And I like Tyson Chandler. Good game.
LeBron - oh yeah. Another triple double.
Kuzma - sure seems to be favoring a hip bruise or something, but he's a hustler out there.
I thought Lonzo's defense was good. BI - great defense too. It actually is good to see him back.
Javale was the biggest roster hole of the evening though. And Ivica Zubac sure picked a good night for the return of Zublokka!! |

Jrue is an all star type player. Julius was the best player on our squad last year and has taken another step forward this year. Mirotic is a very good player.
I have this feeling about him as well as Westbrook, that they are great players, and will put up incredible stats, but will never win anything ala a Barkley, TMac, Iverson etc..
We gotta go all out for KD or Kawhi this summer. Klay as a consolation prize would be nice too, especially if KD leaves GS for another team. _________________ We pour this booze and we drink this booze because we think it's yummy. YUMMY! Nice sustained effort throughout, it felt like no one was losing their composure at any point in game. Very much so enjoyed the ball movement and Zu given an opportunity. |

There was a game last year, when the Lakers were beating the Cavs and I couldn't help feeling the Lakers were "showing" LeBron how much fun he would have being a Laker...
Fast forward to last nights game; hopefully this was the same type of "showing" for Davis...! _________________ “Always remember... Rumors are carried by haters, spread by fools, and accepted by idiots.” |

Some thoughts on the game. Zu looked like the rookie center that had Laker fans excited. Maybe it was just a bad mix with the small ball 2nd unit or just one of those nights. Nice to see Ingram & Rondo back. Solves a few problems. Ingram may not be an ideal fit but he is still a talented player. Pels roster is flawed. Much like the Lakers they do not have dependable perimeter shooting and probably a reason why they are struggling. Still wonder why Jules was coming off the bench to start. AD/Julius is a monster front court if they pair them with good perimeter play, but that maybe their issue. I think Davis is more LBJ than Kobe. No real killer instinct would rather share the wealth. Put Kobe's brain in ADs body and he is averaging 40/20 a night. Still would love to see him on the Lakers. Kuz remains the steal of the draft. Hart has digressed. Perhaps teams realize he only is a 3 and D player. |

There's no one in the NBA we should give up Kuzma to get. No one. _________________ I would rather have questions I cannot answer than answers I cannot question - Richard Feynman |

To be honest I'd rather keep our core than trade for AD as well |
