Ahh. Funny bits on Letterman. He did the same thing Charles Grodin did by taking offense to everything DL said and looking at him seriously. Was also on a cable show called Bizarre which I liked as a kid because of guaranteed boob shots.

No! Ugh! He brought me so much joy, I loved the Funk man. His father was a legend in his own right; as is his brother, Albert Brooks (I imagine that surprises some people). Classic Hollywood family

Saw him at a restaurant a few years ago and thanked him for the laughs. Couldn't have been nicer. RIP Funk Man.

I went to a panel at the Paley Center for Curb in 2010 and Bob stole the show. Had everyone in the audience and on stage rolling. Theres a few clips of it on YouTube.

Thanks for posting this, it’s great, and a nice tribute. I would have absolutely watched a Marty Funkhouser spin-off. He is hilarious and will be missed.
