I'm starting to think BI isn't going to be a part of our future. I've been a big supporter of his since before we drafted him. I see the improvement, like most of you, but it's not what I hoped for. I see a guy struggling to make his mark. Not a guy who knows he's going to be great.

How about neither are a problem? The only people upset at Ingram are those who thought he would be a HOFer.

If BI can help get another true star here, I'll drive him and Zo to the airport...!

Luke is the problem? Stars are stars, BI's not right now.

He's already been surpassed as the #2 scorer by Kuzma. Without Kuzma you see that BI is neither a #2 or #3 scoring option in reality.

The longer LeBron and Kuzma are out the less valuable a BI trade becomes. I would bench BI the next few games with a fake injury because he's becoming completely exposed.

Luke Walton is coaching without his best 2 scorers, it's not on Luke.

Lakers scored enough points to win - the problem is Luke and his buddies cant instill urgency and a defensive mindset in this team.

Losing can frustrate us and force us to make trades to get rid of our players but I think we need to give our players a chance to prove themselves, I know every loss can force fans to wanting to get rid of our young players but that seems like only a bad fan would do.

here let me reword your statement a bit:

Losing can frustrate us and force us to make trades to IMPROVE OUR TEAM, but I think we need to give our players a chance to prove themselves, I know every loss can force fans to wanting to BRING IN PLAYERS THAT CAN PLAY DEFENSE, but that seems like SOMETHING only a bad fan would do.

I'd get rid of Luke before BI. I think BI has a lot of growth left in him still. Luke not so much.

That's not true. I don't remember anyone saying Ingram would be a HOFer. All-Star? Sure. But HOF? Who said that?

Probably those who thought he was Pippen.

Agreed.

Living here in NC (born and lived in CA), I still get somewhat surprised by the amount of hype Duke players seem to get just because they spent a year of two with Coach K. I'm not a fan of any of the big 3 schools here (Carolina, NC State, or Duke) which makes me an outlier where I live, but a good season at Duke doesn't make you a first ballot (or any ballot) HOFer in the NBA.

BI doesn't have an NBA body for the position he plays. He needs to beef up a little bit (I'm not saying a lot),but he could use 20-30 more pounds on that rail thin frame.

Fortunately for the Lakers, their next few games are against teams with losing records like the New York Knicks (9-29), Minnesota Timberwolves (17-21).......

Unfortunately, these are still NBA teams. These bozos probably get beat by collegiate teams.

Usually, emplay seems to know that probably more then any fan, surprised he thought Lakers had a cake walk schedule, he will be the first to tell you that no NBA game is easy no matter who you play.

Eric, they can lose to anyone in the league WITH LeBron healthy. He helps dramatically, yes, but they can still be lazybutt even with him. EG Dallas game that probably would've been a loss if they had more than 2 secs to shoot from an inbound at opposite end. Frankly, every single West team but PHX isn't too far away from the 3rd seed.

I think the clock for Ingram just sped up. Failing miserably in trying to carry the team, proving he is more complimentary than star and plays the same position as Lebron.
